In just one week, I’ll be walking across the stage and graduating nursing school.

There were so many moments I questioned if I was capable, cried after exams, missed out on time with family and friends, and wondered if I’d ever see the finish line. But every late night, every early morning, every sacrifice led me here.

I didn’t get here alone.

Devyn Brooks thank you for believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. Thank you for praying with me before every single exam, for reminding me that I was capable when fear told me otherwise, and for encouraging me to quit my job so I could give this dream everything I had. You carried so much of the weight without ever making me feel guilty for it. You paid the bills, supported me through every breakdown, celebrated every small victory, and never stopped believing that I could do this.

This diploma may have my name on it, but a piece of it belongs to you too.
