Capturing pizza night for fforest back in summer 🌞

The quiet side of autumn

Featuring a lot of Floss 😅 by @brookaurora_

I always think of my family quite similarly to the Durrels in my family and other animals. I feel like we’re all slightly nuts but I wouldn’t have it any other way

This is one of the slightly nuts projects (or maybe it’s not nuts, I don’t know…) when my parents bought a “dirty little bath tub” (as my sister would call it 😂), when they couldn’t sail and it needed a lot of work.

But whether it’s nuts or not I am very grateful for it, I love spending time with them moored on the estuary, drinking tea. It’s become a bit of a refuge for me their boat, a place I feel some of my happiest times by @brookaurora_

An endless summer that’s been both insanely busy and full of quiet 🌞 by @brookaurora_

Summer from my camera 🌞

I feel like I’ve got back into taking photos this summer. Nothing perfect, though I was never a perfectionist with photography anyway. I’m just enjoying taking what I see and what I like and keeping it at that.

I think with the ability to make everything so perfect and unrealistic with AI, I’d started to find it all almost nauseating on Instagram and with photography. I’d rather see the reality, even if it isn’t as polished, than some alternative reality that performs better.

I’m not even sure what I’m rambling about now…but basically I’ll just enjoy capturing the small day to day things that all add up to make this life the beautiful mess that it is. And if people like it that’s lovely. If they don’t, that’s also fine with me 😊🌞 by @brookaurora_

Moments of light and solitude 🌞🌿 by @brookaurora_

Some photos from when I was invited to stay at the Beekeepers Hut at @hawardenestateholidays

It was a lovely spot in a peaceful walled garden, waking up to the sunrise coming in through the doors of the hut and just getting to have a bit of quiet and space to myself 🌞 by @brookaurora_

Evening light ✨

It’s still bloody cold but we have had some beautiful light lately 🌞 by @brookaurora_
