Oh to be a Hampton Woman…

I’m truly so proud of the way Hampton has helped me evolve as a student, friend, daughter, and woman. As a first generation student, these are four years that I will hold dear.

To my Family…
The support throughout these years has not gone unnoticed. I am so grateful to be so close to all of my cousins, aunts, and uncles. I thank God everyday that he has blessed me with the support system I have.

To my Mom, Dad, and Wanny…
My goodness the amount of late night calls and early morning anxiety attacks, yall truly were my lifeline that helped me achieve greatness. I couldn’t have moved this far away and pushed myself to the heights I have without you three in my corner. There truly are no words to describe how much I love yall.

To Jalen, my oldest brother, my angel…
Everything I achieved, I did with you in the back of my mind and in my heart. When you left me so abruptly, I didn’t know then, that I would still be able to go this far. Even though I was so distraught, making you proud became my #1 priority. I know that looking down on me right now, you couldn’t be anything but.
