Happy 30th Birthday Ryder! 🎉🥳

I can’t believe you’re 30. It feels like just yesterday you were making messes in my house… and now you’re making mortgage payments.

Watching you grow into the man you are today has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Life hasn’t always been easy for you, and you’ve had your share of reasons to get discouraged. But that’s never been who you are. You’ve always kept your head up, stayed positive, worked hard, and treated everyone with kindness and respect. I honestly can’t remember a time you’ve ever spoken badly about anyone.

You have the biggest heart and are always the first person to help someone else. That’s one of the many reasons I’m so proud to call you not only my son, but one of my best friends.

Now go celebrate in Vegas, make memories, and remember… what happens in Vegas usually ends up on someone’s phone, so make good choices! 😜

I couldn’t be more proud of the man you’ve become or more excited for the life you and Avery are building together.

Happy Birthday, Ryder. I’ll always be your biggest fan, your loudest cheerleader, and yes… you’ll always be my baby, even if you’re 30 now.

My foster pup, Walter, is off to the vet for his first time. Today's the day he gets neutered. He looks like he's thinking, 'What's the big deal?' On my way to pick him up. He's such a sweet boy. by @brooke_davlin

One thing about working in commercial construction — you realize you know people who can professionally tear apart your house too. 🔨😂

So demo day is officially happening for two bathrooms, thanks to my crew agreeing to trade commercial job sites for residential chaos.

Goodbye builder-grade bathrooms. Hello custom finishes, better layouts, and me suddenly having VERY strong opinions about sconces, trough sinks and whether matte black is officially out.

And huge shoutout to my amazing friend Dosha for living next door, letting me use her shower, and giving me a place to escape the construction zone while the real work gets done. 🚿 🦺 by @brooke_davlin

I was sure Joelle was done for the night at 8:00 PM, but clearly, she was just getting started, because at 12:00 AM, she was wide awake and ready to roll with a cartoon marathon that somehow made 3:30 AM feel reasonable, and in the midst of all the chaos, this tiny human stole my heart with her big personality and generous hugs.💕 by @brooke_davlin
