One year ago today I got on a plane to Vegas to embark on an adventure of a lifetime to compete on a spot for @beastgamesonprime !

I got sent my ticket a few days before I had to leave, wasn’t giving any instructions on what to do once I got there until the day before, and once I landed in Vegas, piled into a big white van with a few other contestants who had just arrived. Sounds a little sketchy. 😂

There were 2000 people to sort through, so we had to wait at hotel for a few days before we could start the competition. Finally, all 2000 of us were bussed over to the Allegiant Raiders Stadium, which was our home for the next few days! We rolled out sleeping bags on the floor, slept during the day, and filmed throughout the night. Our diet consisted of a boiled egg, broiled chicken, quinoa, and some vegetables sticks (and of course @feastables ) Walking onto the stadium floor for the first time was surreal, the set was larger than life, and there were 2000 people flooding in from all sides of the stadium, cheering and chanting as we all met in the middle and looked up to see MrBeast on a platform with a microphone about to give us our first challenge.

We had 4 elimination challenges. During the competition, I ran faster than I think I ever have in my life, I thought I was flying for a second during the Flag Challenge.😂 and at the end of it, 1000 of us won a spot in the Amazon prime Beast Games competition! So they sent us home for a week, I worked at the Southwest Believers Convention in Fort Worth, then flew out to Canada the next week to film Beast Games Ep1. Oh, did I also mention Tallon and I were planning a wedding at this time? I think that was the craziest, busiest time of my life.😅

One year ago today I had a very short lived conversation. (Paraphrased) 😂

Jimmy: What do you think about the set?
Me: It’s amazing, It’s like larger than life!
Jimmy: most people will still probably say it fake though
Me: Yea you’re right they probably will….I know it’s real though!
*Jimmy walks away*

*Also Jimmy was really nice, he wasn’t being rude when he walked away, just had a lot of things going on cause we were about to film. 😂 Later in the games in Beast City he would come out and sit with everyone with an Ipad and show us footage from the previous night. So thankful to witness the Lord’s grace and kindness over this beautiful family as we prayed and waited patiently for God’s handpicked home for them.

Their circumstances said “not going to happen”
