Celebrating Kerrington has always been so easy! She’s just a joy to love on and we are so proud of her for how she finished volleyball with grace and determination. She faced several personal obstacles this year that truly taught her a lot about friendships to leadership to loyalty and just overall growing as a good human being and athlete. Sports can teach you so many life lessons and when you are modeled leadership it helps you in so many ways in the real world. The best part of the night is seeing her face when people showed up for her and messages from those who wanted to be there and couldn’t. Thank you to the friends and parents from elementary up that showed as well as family members who’ve come to all the things to those who came and couldn’t predict their children and couldn’t come in (love you Amy for always trying). Thank you for the children Kerrington has been blessed to babysit that came out to support her and love on her with signs and smiles! Thank you to high school friends of ours that have made such an impact on Kerrington that she insisted they be there for her last game (we love you Mike “Mozzarella”). Thank you to girlfriends of mine who showed up to support my girl knowing all the mama feels I would have tonight and the ones who messaged who couldn’t make it (love you girls - Di, Kristen, Shannon, Heather and Cheri). We had cousins and grands, old coaches and teachers, friends from her church and old volleyball teams to past graduates who came to love on her! Thank you also to her school for honoring the seniors and all the work behind the scenes to make it perfect! I noticed all the details and all the hard work from the AD to the coaches to the admins.
