Branding shoots have always scratched a very specific part of my brain. I love making beautiful photos (obviously, hehe) but I love figuring out the why behind them even more. The ideas, the styling, the props, the colors, the story, the unexpected details. Taking all of those pieces and turning them into something that feels so true to the person. Getting to dream it up, design it, and then be the one behind the camera bringing it to life? Yeah. I could do this forever. Christeen gave me SO MUCH to play with creatively. Color, personality, playfulness, and plenty of room to make something that felt completely her. I just love her and everything we created together! More of this. Somewhere in the magic of the Canadian Rockies. Okay… someone pinch us. The last few months have been spent dreaming up this event alongside @shelbyannbell, @foreveragency, and @brookeblane, and seeing it all come to life was even better than we imagined. One of our favorite parts was watching hundreds of women show up for one another. Shelby has built so much more than a brand; she’s built a community where women leave feeling seen, encouraged, and empowered, and getting to witness that firsthand was incredibly special. We’re so grateful to @milanicosmetics and @marcanthonyhaircare for trusting our team to take part in your activations, and to every single Bestie who laughed, snapped photos, spilled some tea, and made the space come alive. Months of mood boards. Planning calls. Hundreds of artboards. Countless little details. Then suddenly… it’s here. 🥹 Seeing people interact with spaces that were once just sketches on a screen never gets old. This project stretched every creative muscle I have—from helping shape the event branding and designing so many of the details that brought the experience to life, to documenting it all as it unfolded. What a dream to be trusted with a project like this. The event was beautiful, but the people made it unforgettable. @shelbyannbell has a way of bringing together women who genuinely celebrate one another, and getting to spend the weekend surrounded by that kind of community is something I’ll carry with me forever. So thankful to Shelby and the best group of gals for trusting me, and to every creative, vendor, sponsor, and attendee who poured so much heart into making this weekend what it was.
