God is so good 🔑🏡
Words cannot describe how incredibly difficult this process has been. Looking for over a year, constant set backs, and negations for 4 months. Just when we were about to give up hope, our prayers were answered. Throughout this process God has made 2 things abundantly clear.

1. We HAVE to surrender our plans to him. Our plans may not look like His and that’s the whole point. His plans are purposeful, comprised of intricate details to provide for you while shaping your testimony. I never thought something as “simple” as buying a house would become such a huge part of my testimony. After all we’ve been through, I can 100% without a doubt say that if it is not in God’s plan for you, it will not happen!

2. There is VALUE in a season of waiting. As I sat in despair Easter weekend, frustrated with months of my patience being tested, something dawned on me. I was in my season of waiting, like everyone was that Saturday after Jesus death, before he was resurrected. As the saying goes, “Sunday is coming”. God was working behind the scenes to bring us the perfect home (less than a mile from our family), to secure our financing, and to prepare our hearts. Continuously seeking the Lord throughout this process truly paid off. While you’re in a season of waiting, I encourage you to seek Him because he WILL answer. Here’s to the next chapter of life: First time home buyers balancing college, their careers, and the final details of wedding planning 🫣🥲 taken in Wichita, Kansas by @brookec04
