First practice as a free woman 😁 Lanes were toastyyy n i used my croc as a tripod 🧍🏼‍♀️ Process of me trying to trip a 4 before i go home.

Ladies and gents I have never felt so relieved in my life. It’s been a long 5 years. God graced me with struggle so I could grow through it, and I am so grateful.

Thats all i got for now -10

Well guys the last regular season event of my collegiate career did not go how I imagined it. WOMP WOMP. Regardless my team was still able to get some licks back from earlier in the season and had a lot of fun doing it too.

I CANNOT stop throwing @trackbowling Theorem Pearl…… As soon as my top ball looks a little too slow, that theorem has been in my hand for the rest of the block 😭 Personally I am content with my performance, always want more but such is life. During traditional I ave 206.8 and tied for 13th out of 30 teams (200???)😜 Ngl i sold heavy, I just needed one more mark in the final traditional game on Sunday to make ATT but I whiffed a 6 pin, chopped a bucket and left a big4 in the 9th to shoot 195 😀 I WANTED A BANJO SO BADDDDDDDD. Despite THAT, spares were really good, decisions were really good, and commitment to strategies was also, really good. I just need to iron out some kinks in my misses but other than that I was able to see the pictures pretty well all weekend, and when I did get confused I was still making my spares. (!!!)

It’s do or die this weekend for MEAC Championships so stay tuned!

ITCs… man first out the cut suckssssssssss.

Just wanna say NCAA FOR THE WIN!!!! (iykyk 😚) As a team we really wanted it, just got lost too many times along the way. We had alot of great moments, like outscoring every team in block 3!! Unfortunately our floor was just too low, our bad games were BAD. During our high sets we weren’t able to emphasize and had at least one game where we gave up too many pins. We definitely grew alot as a unit this week though. Being able to lose the way we did, heads held high, if you didn’t see the scores, you wouldn’t know we missed cut. Regardless, love these girls and we’re gonna go out w a bang every time 💁🏼‍♀️.

Personally I think I bowled pretty well this week, plenty of missed opportunities on my own behalf but that’ll happen over 64 games right guys????? right??? 😀 Im pretty sure i missed 2 makeables in the first 32, the second 32 don’t ask cause i don’t remember 🙂. Struck alot and threw alot of good ones, made ALOT of spares. Im disappointed with not being able to go back and fight for the ITC Natty in my last year after being there the past 2. HOWEVERRR I am excited with my development as a player, the commitment to the decisions i made this weekend and being RIGHT is nothing to disregard. I did alot of different things that i couldnt imagine doing a year ago. All I can do is stay open-minded and keep my eyes ahead for the Music City Classic this weekend and defending our title as MEAC Champions the following one.

Full approach and a fresh cover! (more coming soon)😁

@ebonitebowling Gb5

Update: Pain has lowered significantly, but I’m still limited in the things I can do without feeling pain. Rn im just really focusing to get my feel back since I lost some touch from not bowling for a while. Other than that, slowly getting our brunswick fam balls in, and crossing our fingers that our mechanic can come back soon causeeeee yall see the state of the pair next to me 😭😭

I have been graced by God with the gift of patience

If you didn’t notice, I am NOT in Reno rn, (😀) but I was fortunate enough to travel to upstate NY for a week to put some work in on the lanes. Surrounded by alot of good people and had some really good conversations about the game. I haven’t bowled in about 2 months so I took it super slow and minimized momentum in my approach to avoid hurting myself again (hence 3-step)

I likely will continue this approach until I can throw full shots comfortably and consistently. I haven’t thrown it this slow since high school so it issss an adjustment. Nothing like waiting 10 minutes just to get 7 😍 On the bright side, I will have more options for slower ball-speeds when i’m dealing with alot of volume 😁

First event of my last semester is a little over a week away and yk me, imma make it happen

Wifi wasn’t great this weekend so clips are limitedd 🙃

MEAC # 1

Unfortunately this weekend I was in a lot of pain, only got one good match in before I had to throw strategy out the window and just focus on getting the ball down the lane.

I am trying to be nice to myself because I am injured, but realistically I just cant reach the goals I set for myself performing the way I am. Sure, the pain is keeping me from doing my best, but stats don’t care, and my opponents don’t care either. The reality is I am not performing. I will be taking a few weeks off of bowling (🥲) to allow my body to heal before I can start preparing for team USA trials in January. See y’all then

Ps. I love my teammates and my coaches, they’re the best
