Ever since your diagnosis - I had cried every single day at the thought of you being gone. My social media was constantly filled with other people having to put their dogs down. Filled with how people have coped with grief and the loss of their companion. Filled with, to love someone so much, with that love comes grief. That grief is the last act of love we have to give. Where there is deep grief, there was great love. And even though, I know I was lucky to get this extra time with you and you are now longer in pain, it does not make the thought of you being gone any easier. No one prepares you to say good bye to your soul dog. A dog that has been there for you through your whole 20’s, supposedly the most important years of your life, and you were everything in them. The dog that the universe sent to a clingy person who never felt like anyone’s first choice, but to you I was. The funny thing is, when you get a dog - you know right from the start that they won’t stay forever. You sign up for an ending before you even begin. But you do it anyway. You let them in. You let them take up space in your home, in your routines, in the parts of you that you didn’t even know needed filling. And before you know it, they’ve got a piece of you - one you won’t ever get back, even long after they are gone. The funny thing is, you never regret it, not even when the end comes, not even when it wrecks you in way you weren’t ready for. Because somehow the love outweighs the pain. Every single time. You do it anyway. I will endure a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you for all of yours. Say hi to Stormie up there for me baby girl, I love you always and miss you so much already 🀍πŸͺ½ by @brookeejamiee

Girlhood is something that is very close to my heart, and I treasure every single one that steps into my life. The girls that hype you up and cheer you on. The girls that believe in you more than you believe in yourself. The girls that listen to you with their hearts. The girls that celebrate your small wins like they are everything. The girls that can sense you need a hug when the rest of the world thinks you are doing fine. The girls that feel your happiness and sadness like it is their own. The girls that make you feel like you’re home, wherever you are. 🀍 by @brookeejamiee
March 2026 πŸ•ŠοΈ The month of birthday love and filling up my cup! πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ ~ Birthday month hit different this year πŸŽ‚ ~ With my most loved ones showing up for me πŸ’Œ ~ Officially asking my best friend to be my maid of honour πŸͺ© ~ Surprise set up was a slay, after wrestling the balloons home 🎈 ~ Wedding prep as always, getting things organized 🌹 ~ Having an Oura ring has really changed the game for me, obsessed is an understatement 🌴 ~ Weekly work fits, sponsored by Muscle Republic πŸ’ͺ🏼 ~ Getting my monthly puppy fix with our Junior boy πŸ• ~ You never know how much you rely on your back until you have a back injury πŸ₯Š ~ Ending the month with a very, very special birthday 🎁 ~ Monthly quote 🌊 Living your best life means slowing down enough to see how good it already is and though March was a quick and full on month, I felt every bit of that. Through feeling so loved for my birthday, even if it wasn’t as big as I would normally plan it to be. Through spending every single moment of the wedding planning process with my partner, family and my best friend to take it all in. And through seeing my little brother grow up to be the man he is today, celebrating such a big milestone - I will forever be proud of him, life really is beautiful. 🀍 by @brookeejamiee

You might not be where you want to be, but right now you are here - and here is beautiful. This year is already going so quickly, in amongst everyday life and planning a wedding, I have realised it is so important to take your down time, walk outside regardless of the weather and spend time with your family and friends whilst you are still around. 🀍 by @brookeejamiee
January 2026 πŸ•ŠοΈ Trying something new and fun with my January dump! Slowing down is 100% necessary for your mental health - don’t be afraid to take that annual leave just because you need time. Hold onto your loved ones, especially the ones who are around - every single one is such an important part of your existence. 🀍 by @brookeejamiee
