being a back 2 back state champ is a feeling that i will chase forever. ♾️

knowing i will never put on a mendon softball uniform again is a feeling i can’t describe. for years wearing “mendon” across my chest meant carrying on a tradition and creating memories that will last forever, and that’s exactly what my teammates and i did. going up to east lansing 4 years in a row is something not a lot of people get to experience. i am so grateful to have all four of my high school seasons end in secchia stadium, two of those ending with a state championship.

winning a state title as a senior is a bittersweet feeling. im beyond happy knowing we won it all, but there’s also this sadness knowing my time playing the game i love has come to an end. the friendships, van rides, trolling the other teams, eating 14 pixie sticks in one game, the superstitions everybody had, pre game rituals, the sleepovers, the crazy talks we had at team dinners, and our weird sayings nobody would understand besides my teammates is officially just a memory.

being successful in this sport couldn’t have been done without the unconditional love me and my teammates have for each other. the bond me and the four other seniors have is truly special and im so thankful for experiencing every single game with them by my side. with that being said i want to also thank my coaches, the community, and most importantly my family for supporting me throughout my softball career.

thank you softball for the best 12 years of my life. 🥎🫶🏻

I’m grateful to say my last season of volleyball was the best season. Our bond was like no other and I know I will never experience anything like this again. I will miss my underclassmen with my whole heart and I’m so so thankful for all of the new friendships that we’ve made this year. I’m proud of each and every one of you and I would do anything to have one more year with my best friends 🥹 Thank you Mendon volleyball. 💚🐝
