Rehearsals for our young choreographers’ evening “TanzLab” – premiere on June 5.“If I Should Lose You” by Chris RoosenburgIn “If I Should Lose You”, we go into the psyche of a man who lost his wife. The grief both of them experience, the way they blame each other, the nostalgia of their good times and the loathing of their bad times.Choreography: @chrisroosenburg Dancers: Brooke Coralles and Pablo del CampoMusic: “Origin of the World” by Erik Truffaz & Murcof, “If I Should Lose You” by Nina Simone, “Keep Watch” by Ben Lukas BoysenBallet direction: @ivanalboresi_choreograf Ballet master and assistant: @lemeviinicius Intendant: @danielklajner @tn_los Pictures: @heranorin by @brookehopec

Rehearsals for our young choreographers’ evening “TanzLab” – premiere on June 5.“Vell Nadó” by Mariona Carrasco This piece has continuously changed form throughout the process. It has evolved through questions, encounters, and the people surrounding it.I have always been intrigued by the concept of morality, by the tension between what is controlled, expected, censored, and what exists underneath. At the same time, I find an immense source of power and inspiration in dancing with people, in sharing intuition, presence, and vulnerability through movement. The choreographic material emerged from a desire to work closely with the people I have shared artistic space with this year, but with whom I had never actually danced. During a dance session with makeup artists, musicians, composers, and performers, I found the impulse to create something rough, honest, and non-decorative.The starting point became simple, not to censor any movement that appeared honestly. To let the body speak without worrying about shapes, aesthetics, or form. To allow instinct, contradiction, fragility, and impulse to exist without correction. This work became less about constructing an image and more about exposing a state. To leave shame aside during the whole path and to welcome every thought impulse and desire. Choreography: @marionacrrsc Dancers: Brooke Corrales with members of Theater Nordhausen involved in the processMusic: “Mirror I!” by Luca Marcossi, “Folk fær andlit”, by Hildur Guğnadóttir, “Piel” by Arca, “Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement” by Ludwig van BeethovenMusic mixed/produced: @joana_torello Ballet direction: @ivanalboresi_choreograf Ballet master and assistant: @lemeviinicius Intendant: @danielklajner @tn_los Pictures: @heranorin by @brookehopec

Goodbye, but not for long ❤️Dad, not a day will pass that I won’t miss you, think of you, or wish you were still here with me. Losing you is one of the hardest things I’ll ever have to survive—but for you, I will keep going. I will keep living. I will make the most of the life you helped give me.Thank you for teaching me what strength really is—to “walk it off,” to never quit, to fight with grit. You instilled in me resilience and the love of so many beautiful things. I just wish we had more time. More memories. More adventures. More chances to heal what had been broken—and for me to witness all the incredible things you still had left to do.Know that I’m forever proud of you—for the demons you faced, the battles you fought, and the way you never stopped pushing forward. I’ll always cherish our laughter, our sunrise walks, and how you were always up for all my crazy ideas. Our relationship wasn’t always easy, but it was always filled with love. You never stopped believing in me—and I always believed that someday, you’d find your way home. That you’d show the world the big, beautiful heart I always knew you had.I will carry you with me always. I know you’re smiling down, reminding me to laugh more, take more chances, embrace life—the good and the bad—and to be gentle with myself.I can’t wait to hug you again in the next life, where I know you’ll be waiting for me with open arms. You’re flying free now, Daddy. Finally at peace.I love you. I love you. I love you.Shaun Luis Corrales August 31,1969- May 22, 2025 by @brookehopec
