Okay let’s try this again - without the cute little graphic art, because it’s the only reason I can guess insta decided to tag as AI. 🙃

Just a little change for the new year. I stress too much posting star reviews. I want to share about everything I read - not just my absolute favorites.

Just because I loved something doesn’t mean you will. Same goes for my DNF being someone else’s absolute top read of the year. I love this about reading. So, that being said, you can still find full reviews and ratings on GoodReads and StoryGraph. I may still include 5⭐️ but we’ll see.

Here’s to a year full of books, community and uplifting each other. by @brookembooks

Big Trouble in a Little Mafia 📖
@tanvierwrites ✍️

This was an absolute good time. When a book can make you cry and laugh AT THE SAME TIME, you know it’s good.

I loved Bianca. She’s smart, fierce and knows what she wants.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, the vacation she gets in Italy isn’t the one she wanted.

Salvatore - I saw every red flag Bianca did. I also see exactly why she chose to ignore them.

I’m a sucker for found family, and there was so much of it here.
Everyone needs a ride or die like Stephanie. I want to hug Vince, hang with Andrea and make pasta with Nonna.

Now I’m off to check out some of Tanvier’s backlist.

OBSESSED with these Dianna + Samkiel nails from @hexed.bylee 🫶

When I ordered these I asked her for a Gods and Monsters theme and to just do her thing. And y’all, SHE COOKED! Thank you so much, Lee. These are safely on my bookshelf, so I can swoon, until change up time. I cannot wait to see what you create next.

Cover Reveal 🎉
Songstealer 📖
@authorhedawoods ✍️

A stolen tail. A dangerous bargain.
And chaotic immortals who are a little too interested in the world Below.

Lyra Northsea, princess of the opulent Mermaid Court, has only ever loved one boy: her human childhood friend, who disappeared without a trace ten years ago. Now, prompted by a mysterious dream, Lyra sets out in search of him, only to stumble upon a dreadful truth. Her childhood love has become the deadly Pirate King... and he doesn’t even remember her.

Heartbroken, Lyra just wants to go home. But the gods Above have placed their bets on Lyras story, and their meddling costs her something precious-her tail. Her only hope to get it back is hiring the Pirate King’s crew to take her to Warden’s Cove.

To Lyra’s surprise, she fits in perfectly with the motley crew
-except their grumpy captain, who is far from thrilled with the spoiled little princess on his ship. But there’s a masked villain on their tail, determined to turn the game of gods even deadlier... and as Lyra and the Pirate King race to unveil the game of immortals that’s been manipulating their entire lives, the friction between them soon turns hotter and darker.

Can they reclaim the love that once bound them before the gods rip it from their hands?

Daddy Oblivion is coming. And he’s not going to play nice.

I am so ready for the release of The Fall of the Crowned King (11.24.26). How are those rereads coming along? With the releases of the graphic audios and deluxe editions, there’s no excuse to not be caught up by November. Amber has been feeding TF out of us. Forever grateful. 🫶

If you haven’t picked up the Avalon series yet, what are you even doing. Get better friends. Alice would hiss at you. 😉

Claimed by the Depths 📖
@author.asherdpayne ✍️

Thankful, as always to be a part of Asher’s ARC team. I was beyond ready to dive into Claimed by the Depths.

Like all her work, CBTD is packed with action and the world building is elite. Grab a pen and paper, you’re going to want notes. Asher is the queen of leaving little crumbs along the way
- if you can find them.

I really enjoyed the multiple POV, and getting to see more of the inner thoughts and plannings of each character. There are so many pieces of the puzzle coming together, I cannot wait to see how this prophecy and battle play out.

Caspian and Rohen explore much deeper emotions and connections in this book, and my heart aches for all they’ve both endured. If you’re a found family fan, you’ll get your fill in these pages. Rooting for these two and their crews hard.

Books 1 & 2 are available now. Snag signed copies from the author. 🏴‍☠️🖤

Have you met the King of Glass? We love Anton over here. I’ve also fallen in love with this @enemiestoembers candle he inspired. Crisp salt air scent with a hint of orange (and mischief, of course). 🕯️

If you haven’t met Anton and Vasalie yet, you need to soon. This duology is so good.
