Days of the Dead Las Vegas was everything I love about the horror community wrapped into one weekend!!! I met so many amazing horror fans, actors, artists, vendors, and volunteers. From hearing the best stories and making new friends to signing some very cool things, I’m just so grateful that this very random little piece of my childhood continues to bring me the coolest experiences!!! 👻🎞️

Ready for the next one. Where are we going next?! 🖤🔪

Best known as Baby Stephanie in Jason Goes to Hell (1993), Brooke forever tied herself to the legendary Friday the 13th saga. Cast as an infant, she stands out as one of the last surviving Voorhees blood relatives in franchise lore.

Beyond her cult-horror debut, Brooke has explored dance, gymnastics, theatre, and creative storytelling on YouTube. She also carries a deep horror legacy as the granddaughter of filmmaker Meir Zarchi, director of the iconic I Spit on Your Grave. further cementing her connection to horror cinema history.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved dog, Cody, on October 13, 2024. Those final six agonizing hours together at the emergency room will forever be ingrained in our minds. We wept, shared stories, drifted in and out of sleep on the cold tiled floor of the ER, and even found moments of laughter while reminiscing in between. We thanked Cody for being the highlight of our love story and made promises that we will keep forever in honor of him. He was surrounded by us, our soul vet Dr. Yates, and his paw resting on Daddy’s chest. Cody closed his eyes and passed away peacefully. Having no choice but to leave him was the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do. A couple of weeks later, Cody was returned to us in the form of aquamated ashes. We promised him that he will always be home with his family even if the silence is deafening and the absence is felt in every corner of our lives.

From the very first day of rescuing Cody (and any of our animals to be honest), Brooke has dealt with anticipatory grief. We would cherish each day but knew the day would come when we would have to say goodbye forever. That day arrived. We are so deeply heartbroken to share this unexpected loss to suspected liver failure of our perfect furbaby, our child, and our best friend.

Six years ago today was the best day of our lives. We were looking to rescue a cocker spaniel (Brooke’s weakness) from @friendsofeastvalley. After searching countless hours, we suddenly found the most beautiful yet emaciated, red floppy-eared spaniel under layers of matted fur. Eric picked his name as Cody and from then on, Cody’s perfectly soulful brown eyes would light up brighter and ears a bit perkier with every daily visit. Brooke camped outside of his cage, passive-aggressively notifying each passerby that he was already ours – until the heroic shelter volunteers would nudge her at closing time. On the morning of January 13th 2019, we anxiously arrived first in line to officially adopt Cody, only to learn he was older than expected—an 8-year-old senior at higher risk of euthanasia.
