We are so proud of Adam! 🥹 He received the “big deal” award from school for all his efforts!
This is what his teacher wrote when she nominated him:

Adam deserves the Big Deal Award because he consistently puts forth his best effort and takes responsibility for his learning, even checking in and completing missed work before anything else. He is incredibly helpful around the classroom and always strives to make thoughtful, responsible choices. Adam brings deeper insight to class discussions and works well with any partner or group. We love Adam and are so grateful for the positivity he brings to our classroom!

This kid has had his fair share of struggles in his 11 years; perinatal stroke, HSP (auto immune dosease that caused a horrible rash, bleeding of the small blood vessels in his stomach, kidneys, joints and skin) and ADHD. But he’s so determined, strong, thoughtful and smart as a whip. When he was born, i was so scared for his future. Hearing that your 1 day old baby had a stroke is terrifying.
He is so inspiring. My heart could explode with how much I love him! by @brookiemccookie

The boys and I had a fun day at Open Gym and Rock climbing with all their friends! They are so quiet now… 🤣 by @brookiemccookie

This is a proud moment to highlight my amazing son. Adam's heart is full of kindness as he wants to give each of his teachers $20 of his birthday money in addition to the gifts and cards I already got them. 🥹😭 by @brookiemccookie
