It just don’t get any better than this yall! Every year I end up posting some bullshit about my time on the water fly fishing. Mostly with my annoyingly entertaining brother, and partner in crime @andyguyoutfitting We fish a little and there’s a lot of adolescent shit talking back and forth and sometimes there’s music. Nothing in this world gives me more joy than fly fishing. It’s the gift I give thanks to God most for (besides a few key people in my life like my dad, of course). 2025 was one of the roughest years of my life. Proceeded my several other rough years. But fly fishing and Andy’s comedic rowing, and yes, sometimes beating on an engine with a rock, and every once in a while pulling BEASTS out of the water, pull me out of the darkest of places. I am so lucky to have lived in Montana the majority of my life, and luckier still to know Mr Andy Guy and have him as my begrudgingly, adopted “brother”. I love my time on the water more than anything else in this world and I’m sure you can see it on my wind chapped face. I chucked streamers until my hands were numb and I could barely hold the rod and parts of it were cold and windy and hard and I even shed a tear or two from the chapter I just left behind me, IN THE FREAKING DUST, mind you. I’ll be taking the best parts with me forward and I’ll be leaving the worst behind. Fishing helps me do that. God I pray you all have a fly fishing kind of thing in your life. I wouldn’t be here without it in mine and if that sounds a little histrionic or dramatic, sorry, but it’s legitimately true. I’ll tell anyone who asks how fly fishing saves my life all the time. Thank you Andy. We always go to a special town when we fish and you’re the only person I would ever let take me there!! Bring it on 2026!!!!! @mit_ber I needed you and this trip more than I could’ve ever known. Yeah, I knew we would have fun and that we travel well together, but I experienced sheer joy and we experienced some New Years magic! I mean wow! I had NO IDEA the amount of fun we would have! You couldn’t have been a better person to help me remember my innate worth and that I have so much to offer the people around me. You are such an awesome cheerleader and your heart is so huge, we laughed our asses off, we shared a few tears, we laughed our asses off again, we took a bunch of mirror selfies, and we lost all our money at blackjack! I should’ve posted these forever ago but some tragic stuff happened during and after my glorious September Paris birthday trip! I got to wear all the most fabulous clothes styled by one of my besties @jayceequeen and had the time of my life with him and my ride or die @amybdarr ! I couldn’t have asked for a better trip minus one small rewrite! I got the news my husband was leaving me the day after my bday. I’m not one to air dirty laundry on socials but this threw me for a loop to put it mildly. That being said I was in the best place with THE best two humans and I couldn’t have gotten through it without their love and of course some incredible outfits! I love you both to the moon and back and traveling with you two is a joy that is hard to beat! Amsterdam and Paris, Rome next? Madrid? Who knows where we will end up!? Happy holidays social media world and I pray you have friends like I do!!! They’re everything and they’re all I need!!! Ok I don’t know why our heads are cut off and I don’t know enough about editing to fix it but the fits are what mattered! Hahahaha by @brookiepants
