GOD IS NEAR 🤍

When you take a moment to be still in the middle of all the chaos in this world, you begin to notice the genuine love, beauty, and peace that still surround us.

I encourage you to talk to God. He is at the door, waiting to hear from you. Whether it’s your first time talking to Him or it’s been a while since you’ve given Him some of your time, all He wants is for you to come to Him and make the effort.

In the middle of pain, hardship, uncertainty, and discomfort, He continues to remind me of the good. When I ask Him to show me the way or give me peace, I begin to see His presence in my surroundings….in the people I love, in nature, in quiet moments, and in the little reminders that everything is going to be okay.

We were never meant to be perfect. If we were perfect, we wouldn’t need the Lord. In a world where pain and evil exist, we need His grace, forgiveness, love, guidance, and salvation.

I’ve learned that so much of life is about balance. 🤍 Balancing your priorities, your time, your health, and the things that matter most.

Right now, I’m learning how to balance nursing school, taking care of myself, pouring into my relationships, while still making time for new experiences, making memories, and allowing myself to grow through every season.

Some days I balance it better than others, and that’s okay. I’m learning that growth doesn’t come from having it all figured out….it comes from living, learning, experiencing, and making room for what matters most. ✨ by @brooklyn.bauer_

In just 3 days I’m headed to Washington, D.C. for my second BELLAME National Conference 🩵

If you know me, you know that I’m a full-time nursing student, and my biggest focus right now is earning my bachelor’s degree and becoming the nurse I’ve worked so hard to be.

But this weekend feels extra special. I was supposed to visit D.C. for my 8th grade class trip, but COVID took that experience away from us. Now, years later, I finally get to experience D.C. for the first time because of BELLAME. 🥹 Talk about a full-circle moment.

For me, BELLAME has always been about the people, the friendships, the inspiration, the testimonies, and being surrounded by a room full of empowered women. I love helping others find what makes them the best versions of themselves.

Nursing school may be my main focus in this season of life, but I’m so grateful BELLAME gets to be part of my story too. 🩷

Sharing your life with someone can be vulnerable, hard, and embarrassing at times. But this guy has never failed to make my smile. His work ethic is so inspiring, and his heart to put others first is never ending. Inviting someone in and bringing them in close is not easy. But he sees me and loves me for who I am. He’s taught me to never give up and to have grace and forgiveness.
Today marks 5 years of sharing my life with Josh. I am beyond grateful for the places we have been together, the experiences we share, and the lessons we have learned along the way. It feels like yesterday we were FaceTiming every single day because we couldn’t even drive yet!
