back @ it 🙂‍↕️

The past few months have been some of the hardest but most rewarding of my life. I’ve had all 3 grandparents need days or weeks long hospital stays. Two moved in with me for appropriate 24/7 care. Cancer, life-threatening infections, feeding tube, resuscitation, delirium episodes, and more. Add in fostering multiple dogs & rehoming efforts and you’ve got a party 😅
I’ve been exponentially less present for other family & friends, missing big life events and many days unable to even answer the phone between caretaking, work, & housekeeping. I’m equally as grateful for the understanding, love, & support from them as I am for this special time with my grandparents, regardless how difficult. I’m grateful for all the medical advancements available to fight cancers & sepsis allowing more time together. The strength all 3 of my grandparents have shown is beyond inspiring 🩵
Hold your people tight, never leave “I love you” left unsaid, don’t take health for granted, & f*ck cancer 🤍🎗️💜 taken in Indianapolis by @brooklyn_bridgee

I wrote dozens of papers in high school and college about opening a rescue one day. This may be the closest I ever get and it is so close to my heart.

I’m helping find fosters and loving homes for Yorkies and Maltese from the most ethical and caring breeder I know, who is facing unexpected & very serious health challenges. She gave me all three of my sweet fur babies and now it’s our turn to help.

Any donations will go directly toward vet care, spay/neuter procedures, dentals, supplies, and fostering expenses while she focuses on her health and recovery to ensure these babies only go to the BEST homes for their new beginnings. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser could help these dogs find their forever homes.

The GoFundMe link is in my bio and linked in my Stories. Thank you so much for any support, donations, shares, or prayers 🩵 taken in Indianapolis by @brooklyn_bridgee
