'Cause here on Earth, it feels like everything good is missing since you left, there's an emptiness I hope you're dancing in the sky, I hope the angels know what they have

It has been 1 month since my dad passed. Everyone knows him to be the dancin rooster man, to light up every room and while he did all of those things he was my inspiration in life first. None of this feels real and it might not ever because the world was a better place with my dad in it. I hope every one of you got to know my dad because it was the greatest gift you could have ever asked for. I had the privilege of being his daughter for 18 years and for that i will forever be grateful. I know he is in a better place now, is no longer in pain and is definitely partying with wardy. As much peace as that brings me no heartbreak will ever compare to the reality of not getting to have my dad with me physically for the rest of my life. Cancer is the most cruel disease and i would not wish this pain on my worst enemy i will never understand why bad things happen to good people and how a disease could take the strength out of the strongest man i will ever know. I know God has a plan and if he didn't want my dad to fight anymore i trust that he did it to take my dads pain away and that my dad will ALWAYS be with me.My dad was truly the light of my life and I knew he would always fight until the very end and that is exactly what he did. When the doctors diagnosed my dad with glioblastoma multi form brain cancer and told him he had a year to live in 2020 he said i will be at my daughters graduation and my dad being the strong willed man he is, was the highlight of my graduation day because i could not be prouder to have my dad see me graduate. I will miss the laughter and every kind of Brent i got to know whether it was full energy and health and dressing in his outfits or whether it was my dad who wanted so badly to not be in pain anymore but got up everyday because he knew he was fighting for me and my mom. Dad, I hope you know that not a day will ever go by that everything doesn't continue to remind me of you. I miss you so much dad, your home now. I love you to heaven and back

happy first heavenly father's day dad! I hope being a dad was everything you'd dreamed of and I hope you had an amazing father's day in heaven ❤️. You truly are the best dad anyone could ever ask for. Psalm 90:4 "A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night" I saw a quote that said "an hour in heaven is 10 years on earth, they'll see you in the morning" and i really hope that's true. I miss everything about you your love has such an impact on everyone it touches and i'm so glad I was one of them. I love you to heaven and back fatha. by @brooklynblake15

one year of loving the light of my life. You are truly the best thing that could have ever happened to me. Your love is truly one of the greatest Gods ever given me you have given me a love so unconditional it overflows. It has been a very tough year but ur love is the one thing that's remained constant. I would find u in every right time but i'm so very grateful it was right person right time. I know my dad would be proud of who i chose, of who you are as a person and the way you chose to love me.Philippians 1:3 & Psalm 45:2. I love you to heaven and back @blakejohns1220 ❤️ by @brooklynblake15
