Throughout my life I have been very quiet and shy. Band has taught me that it’s ok to be yourself and that sometimes expressing yourself through art is the best way to say something. I want to first thank our extraordinary coach, sarah. Sarah has been here through the ups and downs and even when she couldn’t be there she always somehow was, she taught me that you should always, always, always try things. She has also taught me that when life gets in the way you should never let that define you and never let it break you. Thank you Sarah for being the best coach but also the best life model. I want to next thank my family for cheering me on through the years I couldn’t have done it without yall! Lastly I want to thank my team and the NV band. This program was not only an extra curricular but a family. This band opened my eyes on how music can really bring people together. And to my team, words cannot express the gratitude of love I have for them. They have shaped me into the person I am today and without them I would not have survived high school. So here’s to music shaping strangers into a family! I know yall will do amazing things these next years! I love yall and I really did have the time of my life, Thank you North Vermillion band for being my second home🥹🩵 Danceline forever🤞 #glittertime taken in North Vermilion High School by @brooklynclaireee
