NYU Alumna💜 First and foremost, thank you to my mom and dad, because this would not have been possible without their love, support, and all of the sacrifices they made for me. Beginning at NYU as a girl from California and a first-generation college student, people doubted whether I would finish school and expected me to become homesick and move back to LA. I proved everyone who doubted me wrong. Four years later, I graduated from one of the top universities in the nation, maintaining a high GPA while balancing multiple leadership positions each year and proving to myself that I was capable of succeeding far from home. I cannot thank my support system enough—if I attempted to name each and every one who stood by me I’d definitely go over the word limit lol.
