In honor of Ovarian Cancer awareness month, my amazing roommate offered to take photos of me in all the Teal stuff! How I am so grateful for her! Thank you Rylee! @framedbyrylee

Ovarian Cancer has taught me a lot of things. My journey hasn’t been all that easy but it definitely helps when you have the best community surrounding you. Thank you God for this life I am still able to live. Without God this journey would’ve been a whole lot harder. He’s the calm to my storm.

Thank you Make-A-Wish for making my dream vacation come true! I had the best time with my family in Hawaii in late May. I got to do some things I never imagined would be possible. We went to a Luau, snorkeling, hiking up to a waterfall, to a valcano, ALL the things! I got to experience some of the most beautiful sites. Thank you again Make-A-Wish for all the memories me and my family got to make that week! And thank you for my short escape from reality! 🌺💃🏼 taken in Big Island, Hawaii by @brooklynnfightsback

Today marks two years since my ovarian cancer diagnosis, two years since I underwent a complete hysterectomy at just 15 years old, and two years since receiving my ostomy. It’s hard to put into words everything these past two years have held; the fear, the grief, the countless appointments, procedures, hospital stays, treatments, and the life-changing realities I never expected to face at such a young age. While many people celebrate anniversaries of being finished with treatment, I am still actively fighting, still showing up, still trusting God through each step of this journey. There have been moments when I felt exhausted, discouraged, and uncertain about what the future would hold. Yet through it all, my faith has been my anchor. God has carried me on the days when I felt too weak to carry myself, reminding me that even in the hardest seasons, I am never alone. Though cancer has taken so much, it has not taken my hope, my spirit, or my trust in Him. Today, I’m not just reflecting on what I’ve lost, I’m honoring how far I’ve come. I am grateful for every prayer, every person who has stood beside me, every milestone reached, and every day God continues to give me. Two years later, the journey isn’t over, but neither is my faith. I will keep fighting, keep believing, and keep trusting that God is writing a story greater than I can see.
