Dear football,
I was hoping this day would come after a state championship, however not everything in life goes the way you want it to. I have invested my heart into becoming the best player and leader I could be for my 26 brothers that took the field with me every Friday night. There is nothing like the feeling of watching those around you push themselves to become the best players they can be and then focus in on one goal as a team. I’m going to miss the early mornings and the late practices with my guys that I grew up with. To the seniors, thank you for everything you’ve done and worked for this year. It was beyond anything I could have imagined. I loved every second of it and I love every single one of you guys, you guys are truly the brothers I never had. Thank you for pushing me to become a better leader and a better player, I will never forget those moments. I am sad to see this day come, and it hurts to say it’s over. Thank you for an unforgettable senior year.
