Early stages of a recently completed small office T.I. This project is one our first design / build projects. @b2lab.arch executed design and our in-house contracting partner @macondobuilder executed General Contracting. Looking forward to many more projects! #office #interiordesign #architecture #generalcontractor by @brooks2009
The proposed design utilizes a hybrid structural approach, combining concrete or masonry construction with a CLT or DLT system. The upper two floors are intended for occupancy by the client/owner, while the remaining spaces are designed to attract complementary tenants that support and complete the program brief. Located prominently along Centennial Mall in Lincoln, the project provides an opportunity to showcase sustainable construction and design strategies in a highly visible public setting. by @brooks2009

A new conceptual residential design project. From initial charcoal sketch to discovering the possibilities of the rugged site and topography and differing weather patterns. Digital and AI-driven tools extend the logic of the hand sketch. Solar analysis, wind simulation and generative massing refine what charcoal first suggested. Tech does not replace design intuition, it sharpens it. #iterate #designdrawing #midjourney #architectualdesign by @brooks2009
Expanding our use of AI has revealed new and often fun and playful insights into worlflow. Combining analog design exploration with AI assisted evaluation strengthens the connection between technology and the designer's rapid, iterative sketching process. #keepdesignfun #midjourney #architecturalsketch #designprocess by @brooks2009

Outdoor Pavilion- A collaboration with Macondo Builders and Kinghorn Gardens This recently completed outdoor pavilion was envisioned as a retreat for wellness, calm and relaxation. The owners sought a space to unwind- with a hot tub, cold plunge and sauna integrated into a tranquil garden setting. Using wood and steel, our studio created a simple pole structure that sits lightly on the surrounding landscape. Retractable screens provide protection from insects during warmer months while offering a subtle sense of enclosure and privacy. The pavilion's open, minimal form invites connection to nature and seasonal change- a quiet sanctuary for restoration and reflection. @macondobuilder @elmijitodeomaha @kinghorngardens Photos : @tomkesslerphotography #retreat #pavilion #landscapedesign #sustainability by @brooks2009
