Home Game! 5:30P by @brooksbeyondbetter

"For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, but the wicked stumble in time of disaster and collapse." — Proverbs 24:16 🙏🏈

Last year I got knocked down a lot. From September to November of 7th grade I was throwing up multiple times a day: in class, at home, on the field. I missed over three months of school before the doctors found out I have EoE (eosinophilic esophagitis). Between being sick and changing my whole diet, I kept losing weight. By April I was down to 95 pounds.

I'm not posting this so anybody feels sorry for me. I'm posting it because God kept getting me back up.

Now I'm 145, I'm managing my EoE, and I'm back doing what I love with my brothers on the field. Some days are still rough, but rough days don't get the last word.

Whatever you're going through, whether it's EoE or something nobody else can see, get back up. Then do it again.

Thank you God, my family, my friends, and my teammates. Couldn't do it without y'all. ❤️
