Hillsborough Road is currently at Monster-Con in San Antonio, TX this weekend! Because of its release into the wild — the soundtrack album is now available on all streaming platforms.

Here’s a selection of choice-cuts from the score. 🔪

I am beyond grateful for the trust and creative ownership the filmmakers gave me on this film - for my first official narrative feature film score, I couldn’t have asked for better collaborators in both Erick Kaslov and Larry Sands.

Full of 80s slasher goodness, my score for Hillsborough Road is a “kitchen sink” inspired by many horror scores from throughout the decades. From the classic sounds of the Moog Modular System (Halloween, The Shining) to the delightfully atrocious bespoke sounds of Mark Korven’s own octave-harpa, hurdy-gurdy, and resonant garden (The Witch, The First Omen), and the timeless primal ferocity of an aleatoric string sextet... the score features a wide gamut of ever-changing textures and soundscapes. Much like the seemingly ever-changing tall-tale of the film’s original slasher: Alex Williamson.

The first two episodes of @ontherunseries are out in the wild! It’s been a whirlwind scoring this series, and I couldn’t be more proud of the work.

To celebrate: enjoy this score video of *one* of the show’s Main Title themes, featuring @budapestscoring.

Ever since writing the first demo in 2024 (which is actually still in the pilot; Imk if you can pick it out) and continuing to work on upcoming episodes - I’ve been truly astonished by the work that was done by the many involved artists and filmmakers here in South Carolina.

Even with the many limitations of independent filmmaking - 1 believe the show holds up to some of the biggest titles on TV and streaming.

I challenged myself at the start of 2026 to work with more live players in my music going forward… not just to set a new standard of quality but to push myself and advance my music to new heights.

Earlier this morning I had the pleasure of recording with 40 incredible string players, facilitated by the wonderful folks at @budapestscoring!

Huge thank you to @mic_ferrante_music for the recording opportunity.

Beyond excited to have first-hand experience with these world class musicians - and to provide such quality for my friends and collaborators for the @ontherunseries

@elastic.sounds has released their latest instrument library: Infernus Strings.

A collection of horrifically intimate string recordings built within an additive system that gives you the control to create and manipulate them into your own spooky textures.

Excited to share the demo I got to write for the library ahead of its release! 🤘🏻

What a whirlwind.

I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to shoot BTS photography and video for the 2026 [GDC] Festival of Gaming Concert (which also celebrated many “firsts” throughout video game music history, along with the many hits from 2025)!

Huge thanks to @dallascrane_ for inviting me along on this crazy week! Congrats to Dallas and @brianlaguardia2 for your killer arrangements. Truly second to none!

After years of being an internet ghost that posts about his music, vgm aspirations, and his vgm music aspirations, I’ve been given the opportunity to finally attend GDC in San Francisco!

This is my first year attending, so while the nerves are real, I’m very excited (and hopeful) to get to connect with a few mutuals and online friends out there.

I’m sadly only able to attend thru Thursday (3/12) morning, likely until after the Demo Derby. But I’ll be soaking in as much as I can. ESPECIALLY the GDC Concert 😝🤘🏻
