Dear Rachael, I’m honored and blessed to be able to call you my eternal love, my other half, my everything, my fiancée!

I’ll never forget those screams of absolute joy. Our dearest friends nearby to capture a beautiful moment we shared at our special spot in Prospect Park. Months of planning, coordination and payments coalesced into the perfect moment to ask you the ultimate question: Will you grow old with me?

(I blacked out too so it’s good we got it recorded)

We have so many amazing people in our lives who helped make this moment happen. You should feel nothing but warmth and comfort knowing that so many people came together to lie out of their asses for you! I never want to lie like that ever again!!

I can’t wait to continue building this amazing life we have together for many years to come 💍 taken in Prospect Park by @brookstall

BWCC turned 1 year old and I’m getting introspective! ⬇️

Some things feel like we’ve been open for a day. Some things feel like we’ve been open forever. Nothing feels like it’s been a year.

I’m so proud of what we’ve built and the amazing comedy we continue to put on. We’ve created a place where a curated list of comics of every realm can entertain audiences in a simple, fun, well designed room. No weird networks, exploitation, or subservience to the scene politic. Just the entertainment and its genuine enjoyment.

Running the club is exciting, stressful, laborious, rewarding, humbling, and a lot of other words that end in -ul or -ing!

A big thanks to @kylegilliscomedy for getting us going. My and family for supporting me along the journey. And the biggest thanks to @jadslay, the crazy mad comedic scientist to my crazy mad comedic accountant.

Biggest thanks to my mom for raising me into the man that I am. I know you never got to see the club but I’m sure the view from the balcony up top is nice :)

I’ve got a lot to say about this past year. So much of that energy has been poured into this first go at an hour. It’s a great way to start off year 28! More event details and tickets in the bio 🔗 by @brookstall

My mom passed away a few weeks ago, nearly 2 years after her cancer diagnosis.

For now, and forever, these pictures and my eulogy of her are a small showcase of the wonderful, stylish, funny, caring, cool, loving, hard working, and kind woman she was.

There are too many stories to share in this single post. I’m going to make sure her memory will live on and be told on the stage in my endless examples of her hilarity, strength, and love. She demanded it!

More than anything she believed in me and everything I was doing with her whole heart! Not everyone is lucky to have that encouragement. I’m truly blessed by her and everything she has done for me. Now it’s time I put those blessings to work.

Love you mom 💜 by @brookstall
