@kebonywood is about more than just decking 🌿 This project at the University of Exeter is a great example of how Kebony Clear can be used beyond traditional decking applications, creating bespoke planters and integrated benches that bring both practicality and visual appeal to an outdoor space. As the timber weathers, it will naturally develop Kebony’s characteristic silver-grey appearance, adding to the space’s appeal over time. At Brooks Bros, we believe it’s important to make the most of every material we work with and avoid waste wherever we can. From sawdust and wood chip to leftover cut-offs, we’re always looking for ways to give our timber waste another purpose, whether that’s through external processing or helping to power our own facilities. It’s all part of our ongoing commitment to using resources responsibly and finding a use for what we can, rather than simply letting it go to waste 🌱♻️ by @brooksukltd
Alongside our partners @haltnfr, we offer a range of Euro Class B fire-treated cladding, available from stock, including Western Red Cedar, ThermoWood and Thermo Radiata Pine, with delivery available in just 7–10 working days! 🔥 We can also now offer Kebony Clear to Euro Class System B-s1,d0, the highest standard timber can achieve. Every order comes with full supporting documentation, including a Declaration of Performance (DoP), with CE certification provided via an independent Notified Body. A Certificate of Constancy of Performance (CCoP) can also be supplied as evidence. Our fire treatment options include Burnblock®-impregnated timber, supplied through HALT. Made from 100% natural, biodegradable and non-toxic ingredients, Burnblock, penetrates the timber rather than sitting on the surface, providing lasting fire resistance throughout the timber’s lifespan. We also stock a range of fire-treated timber products, including: • 25x50mm nominal sawn ThermoWood battens • 44x44mm ThermoWood chamfered battens • Fire-treated birch plywood sheets For fire-treated timber that’s tested, certified and ready for your next project, speak to our team - danny.howell@brookstimber.co.uk by @brooksukltd
