🔸there’ll be no more sorrow, i’ll see you there tomorrow🔸

the minisode 3 concept photos are all so pretty (just like the album) so i really just had to draw them

i haven’t drawn anything on my ipad in months so i was out of practice but i really like how it turned out. i think this might be my favourite digital artwork i’ve done

happy yeonjun day 🦊

this art collab for jun’s birthday was fantasy. i love fantasy creatures so much so it was really cool to see everyone’s interpretations. thank you to @doodleysoobley for hosting and designing the incredibly pretty frame designs that look like they’re straight out of a story book!!

i decided to go with a tree nymph or dryad because they are charming and alluring and often considered to be shapeshifters and to me that’s what yeonjun is. the moment he gets on stage he puts his heart and soul into it and becomes someone else.

icecreamjun collab to celebrate no labels part 02 🍦

hosted by the wonderful @aru_is_me . thank you for all of your hard work organising and putting together the adorable collages 🫶🏻

raspberry is one of my fav ice cream flavours and i thought it fit perfectly with yeonjuns vibe; a little sweet, a little sour and bold in flavour.

no labels part 02 is so good omg, every song is so cool and just feels so yeonjun!!

i, god, haru ✨

another piece that was meant to be a part of a much larger artwork that didn’t end up happening so instead i’m posting it separately.

happy pride month

this was meant to be a part of a much bigger piece for a dtiys but i didn’t manage to finish it in time so i’m posting this on its own instead.

this piece took me so many hours because i’ve never actually drawn rui before and there was something about the eyes that i just could not get right. looking at all of the shiny jewels stressed me out but i managed to find a combination of brushes that mimicked jewellery enough to satisfy me instead of painstakingly drawing and shading each one which saved my patience.

i still haven’t quite got the hang of gray scale to scale yet so i’m not the happiest with the colour but oh well

process video of sumin for the #girlsoverflowers collab💛🌼

i think i’m getting better at the grayscale method but it’s still very tricky. like getting the colours correct and not too saturated or muted is difficult and frustrating but it turned out nice anyway.

i struggled so much with the flowers omg. so many redraws.

sumin over flowers 🌼

a second instalment to the over flowers collab, this time for the girls. when the opportunity to participate in this came, i instantly knew i had to draw sumin. i’ve been a swith since 2021 and somehow have never properly drawn her before so i was excited to change that. i will admit though, i procrastinated so hard with this because i kept on getting distracted by looking at adorable sumin photos.

once again, this collab was so fun and i loved seeing all of the behind the scenes of everyone’s beautiful artworks. it was a pleasure doing this with you all. thank you to @sooo_dikoloart for hosting and for all of your hard work and dedication and to all of the artists for being so supportive :)

the drawing process of my most recent post for the collaboration project #boysoverflowerscollab

i wasn’t really sure what colour scheme i wanted to do so i decided to attempt the greyscale to colour method which i don’t have any experience in so it was a bit of a learning curve. i usually just start over again when i decide half way through that i don’t like the colours but i was running out of time so i thought this would be the smarter choice, which it was.

beomgyu over flowers 🌼

my first ever art collab hosted by the wonderful @sooo_dikoloart

the theme was #boysoverflowerscollab so i immediately knew i had to draw beomgyu because when i think of nature, i think of him.

i was nervous (and excited) about joining this collab especially when i remembered that i really struggle with drawing flowers but i persevered and i think it turned out nice in the end. everyone was so lovely and encouraging and i’m grateful that my first collab experience was a great one. thank you for hosting @sooo_dikoloart

i love thornman (real, not ai) 🩷

i wanted to test out some new brushes, specifically pastel brushes, because i was getting bored with my regular ones.

i loved seeing all of the videos of moa interacting with thornman and seeing all of the messages on the walls, that i had to draw it myself and add some of my own fears on the virtual wall

(i’m not sure who took the original photo of thornman)

prince hao 👑 ✨

my entry for @eye.spii #eyespii10kdtiys (congrats on 11k and thanks for hosting this challenge)

i technically started this weeks ago but i changed my mind on the pose and references so many times until i settled on this which is why i’m somewhat late to posting it. it’s definitely not perfect but i like it anyway and i had fun. i did discover that i don’t have the patience to draw crowns or jewels though

huening kai meets gojo = huening kaijo

my entry for @goguma_bee dtiys. congrats on 10k!!! and thanks for hosting such a fun challenge.

when i saw this prompt i immediately thought of kai as gojo because he gives such gojo vibes with his blonde hair and he loves jjk so it felt fitting.

i played around with many different references for this so it doesn’t look exactly like them but i’m hoping it’s recognisable enough. either way i like how it turned out in the end
