We say we’re lucky because we get to make girls feel pretty all day, but it goes both ways and your work forces YOU to be accountable for your own self care too😩

Your artistry will hold you accountable when you aren’t taking care of yourself. It shows in your work, it shows how you show up online, and it shows in how you show up to every appointment.

It was a huge wake up call for me that I couldn’t just pour everything entirely into my work and play a role as a brow artist and clock in. This career requires YOU to do so much inner work to hold space for other women and perform your art every single day

A look into Day 1/2 of 1:1 Brow Artistry Training🦋

These trainings are intentionally intimate and slower for students (like me) who take a little longer to grow.

This “BETA” trainee was the first student to trail this long-form beginner training:

At BA, we give all our clients insight on PMU styles so they can make informed decisions about which service would be best for them:

-lasts 1-3 years without a touch up
-natural enough for the everyday look, but may require some fill-in for makeup looks

A brow training course for the anxious, slow learner (like me)

I created a beginner brow course for the girls that don’t do well reading long e-books, sitting behind a textbook/screen to learn theory and watch long videos

This is not a quick training day, it’s a brow mentorship/apprenticeship with accountability and slows down the processes enough so you can be present and understand the why behind our techniques

Brow shaping makes your brows look 𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧, even though we’re removing hair ⬇️

▪️Stray hairs (especially underneath and above brows) blur the shape and creates a more airy, 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙-𝙞𝙣 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠. My clients RARELY ask for a wispy, minimal trim + waxed brow because they want that clean crisp shape

But a lived-in look can be really beautiful. I actually love this client’s natural brows but clients want a look that is longer lasting and has structure!

▪️Removing stray hairs puts the focus on a structured shape, so it appears denser (darker). Sharp and clearly defined edges = instant fullness

▪️𝘽𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙙 hairs sit in the same direction. When hairs overlap neatly, they look thicker than when they’re crisscrossed! I never skip the trim for both shaping and laminations, unless a client requests no trimming

CLOCKED OUT (Thailand Edition)

1. I spent a few weeks back home and got a chance to ground myself back into the sea and land, which is so needed being a service provider. The people back home where I am from don’t have a lot of possessions, but they are so blessed and abundant

2. I spent so much time with my family and the loml. This was me and my boyfriend’s first big international trip together and oh.. I love him in all parts of the world. Being able to step away from my business makes me realize that as much as I want to pursue the highest level of my career.. I also can’t wait to be a future life partner, a home owner, a wife, a mother. That chapter of my life comes with different challenges but I can’t wait to see how I navigate this industry and motherhood together (I’m not engaged or expecting— just dreaming)❤️

3. I’m so grateful I chose to step out of university to pursue my passion (beauty). I was so scared it wouldn’t be “enough,” but it’s more than I could have ever asked for. I have control of my time and I get to define my own idea of “success.” No regrets, but I wish I started at 18 like my little sister.

I’m officially back and starting off my new year (April is my new year) well rested and reset! So excited to meet all my new clients this year, reconnect with all my regular clients and OG’s, and have some new students under my wing✨

Highly arched brows are the secret to a non-surgical face lift

A true high arch can only be achieved with your natural bone structure, or if you have hair that grows in a triangular and upward direction on your brow bone (more rare). The rest of us has to remove more hair from under the arch to achieve this look!

If you have very pointy triangular brows that cause you to look “angry” or “surprised”, I’d only soften them at the top arch a little bit

Your brows deserve a shape that perseveres the natural beauty of them, they were made just for you 🤍
