Today, members of the Career, Technical, Adult, and Community Education (CTACE) team participated in the Fall 2026 Building Trades Meeting, hosted by Broward County Commissioner Steve Geller.

The meeting brought together community leaders and industry partners to discuss workforce development, emerging opportunities, and the importance of strengthening our regional building trades industry.

Congratulations to Mr. Simon of McNicol Middle School on being named the Embry-Riddle 2026 South Florida Regional Aviation Education Teacher of the Year! 🏆
Mr. Ronnie Simon continues to create meaningful opportunities for middle school students to explore aviation, drones, and aerospace. His students won the regional Drones in Schools competition and advanced to compete on the national stage in Detroit.

Today, CTACE collaborated with Cypress Bay High School, Falcon Cove Middle School, and Tequesta Trace Middle School to strengthen acceleration opportunities and support student achievement.
