Thank you @travelandleisure @sushbaral for featuring the Pridwin design. It was a privilege to be entrusted with a place that holds so many memories for so many people! My hope was to honor the Petry family’s legacy while welcoming the Pridwin’s next chapter with Cape Resorts. Such a wonderful project! @brownhalldesign @caperesorts taken in The Pridwin Hotel by @brownhalldesign

“For Colleen Bashaw, summer is a state of mind—best expressed in color, pattern and a touch of seaside whimsy. As vice president of hotel interior design for Cape Resorts, the brand behind local hot spots including The Pridwin Hotel & Cottages on Shelter Island, Bashaw is known for spaces that balance restoration and storytelling with bold creative detail. Her design language is joyful and layered: whimsical prints, saturated color, tactile texture and subtle nautical notes that feel relaxed rather than expected. At The Pridwin, that sensibility comes alive in rooms that nod to coastal nostalgia while feeling fresh, spirited and deeply welcoming.” Thank you @phebewahl @hamptonsmag for the wonderful feature! 💚! @colleenbashaw @brownhalldesign taken in The Pridwin Hotel by @brownhalldesign
