Two young Australian women are backpacking through Ireland when they take refuge at convent that used to be a home for unmarried mothers. It is here that they encounter the supernatural force of Briar faith and long dead secrets begins to surface.

Cradle Song written and directed by Albert Belz is presented as a part of the 2026 ENGAGE program.

An afternoon concert series of diverse and compelling contemporary chamber music curated by Whistling Kite New Music Artistic Director Nick Yates

🎼 SOUNDTRACKS
Sunday 1 November, 5pm
Whistling Kite New Music celebrate their recent collaborations with NT filmmakers in this one of a kind concert event. Soundtracks will combine the screenings of a series of short films, with original soundtracks performed live by WKNM. Soundtracks will feature the NT Premiere screening of Homesick by Iona Francis, with original score by Nick Yates & Stephanie Arnold. More films to be announced very soon!

🎼 STORIES OF WATER AND EARTH
Friday 13 November, 7pm
A powerful collaboration between Djapu poet and performer Melanie Mununggurr and composer Netanela Mizrahi, blending music and oral storytelling to explore connection to Country, ancestry and renewal. Featuring Mununggurr, Mizrahi and musicians of Whistling Kite New Music in its second ever Northern Territory performance.

I am so overwhelmed with the response to WE KEEP EVERYTHING last night at our opening for @fringe_milano_off_festival at @teatring____ ❤️

To see & feel that people connected with the piece & saw their own family & lives reflected in the work was everything & more.

And to perform this work in Italy 🇮🇹 where my Nonna, Nonno & ancestors are from was beyond special.

had the amazing opportunity to watch history being made at @browns_mart theatre with @launchdarwin last night with the preview of Seven Deadly Gins by Yvette Walker! Such a heartbreakingly honest, beautiful story all at once and I am honored to have gotten the chance to witness something so special! this is an absolute must-see, get your tickets before they sell out! the cast, set, Auslan interpretations, absolutely amazing! stay tuned for some cast member interviews, in the meantime, get your tickets! by @browns_mart
