2025 was the biggest year for BR Performance and the teams huge success. 12 athletes in the spotlight but it could’ve been another 50….

Wins around the world across multiple continents.

We’ve established a team that could compete against any.

One of the best in Australia.

2026 is already shaping up to be bigger and better. World championships fights beconing, commonwealth games, youth Olympics and all the rest in between. by @brperformancecoaching

The difference between good athletes and elite athletes isn’t always talent.

It’s the standards they hold themselves to every single day.

How they train.
How they recover.
How they prepare.
How they respond when things aren’t going their way.

Anyone can do the work when motivation is high.

The elite separate themselves through consistency, attention to detail and doing the basics exceptionally well — even when nobody is watching.

Talent gives you potential. Your standards determine what you do with it. by @brperformancecoaching

12 weeks is plenty of time to make a serious change in an athlete — if the work is actually targeted.

The key is knowing what needs to change and prioritising it.

Build the physical qualities that have the biggest impact on performance, progress them with intent, and make sure they transfer back to the sport.

You don’t need endless training.

You need the right training, delivered consistently, for long enough to create adaptation.

Give me 12 weeks and a committed athlete — we’re moving the needle. by @brperformancecoaching

my coaching isn’t for everyone — and i’m completely fine with that.

i don’t care whether you’re a world champion, an established professional or an athlete still trying to make your way up. I’m happy and keen to work with any athlete I come across if I see this one trait.

That is commitment.

i want to work with athletes who are driven, coachable and committed to getting better — and in return, they can expect that same level of commitment from me.

It sounds simple but it isn’t. And that one trait is a major difference in athletes that succeed and ones who don’t. by @brperformancecoaching

Strength, speed, power and technical ability are all essential components of athletic performance. However, without adequate conditioning, your ability to sustain these qualities diminishes as fatigue accumulates.

A well-developed conditioning base allows athletes to:
• Repeatedly express high-intensity efforts.
• Recover efficiently between bouts of activity.
• Maintain technical execution under fatigue.
• Improve training capacity and sustain higher-quality work.

Conditioning isn’t simply about improving your gas tank. It’s about developing the physical foundation that allows you to maximise your athletic potential. by @brperformancecoaching

One of the biggest mistakes athletes make is believing that the answer is always to get stronger.

Strength is one of the biggest drivers of performance… until it isn’t.

Once an athlete has built a solid strength foundation, the priority shifts from building force to expressing force.

2 methods I use to improve reactive strength in my athletes ⚡️

1️⃣ Repeated SSC exposure — using pogo variations, continuous jumps and other repetitive plyometrics to improve elastic qualities through high-rep exposure to the stretch-shortening cycle.

2️⃣ Shock method — using depth jumps, hurdle jumps and depth plyo push-ups to expose athletes to higher eccentric forces followed by a rapid concentric contraction.

Two methods I regularly utilise within my athletes’ programming to improve reactive strength and elastic qualities. by @brperformancecoaching

If you want to develop freakish power, you need to build the qualities that actually underpin it:

⚡ Maximal Strength — increases your overall force-producing ceiling.

⚡ Rate of Force Development — improves how quickly you can access and express that force.

⚡ Efficient Stretch-Shortening Cycle (SSC) — improves your ability to rapidly absorb, store and reutilise elastic energy to produce force efficiently. by @brperformancecoaching
