Testing live the title track of my upcoming project BRSMSHR.RTRNS a couple weeks ago.

Due to family circumstances I wasn't able to rap for 5 yrs, and fell into my own little pit. Then, had this massive seizure this past June, fully unconscious for 5 days, and when I woke up all I wanted to do was rap. Period. This energy came with 5 full tracks in 10 days, plus a 6 minute written I'll drop as well.

Stay tuned for BRSMSHR.RTRNS in 2026.

Some very real, and extremely vicious shit on here too, btw.

Big shout to @adrilovesongs for capturing this 📹. taken in The Fringe Cafe by @brsmshr

WELCOME TO THE DOJO @brsmshr

Kavi is a Vancouver born Hip Hop artist. He mixes humour, elite level lyricism, activism, and intensity into his raps, songs, and poetry. His 12 years of experience in creating music includes thousands of hours of writing, performing at open mics, and then working his way on to Hip Hop shows in Vancouver. This led to tours through western Canada. He has also hosted two different Open Mics in the city; one at the famed ANZA Club for 3 years, and another at the Yale Saloon for one year. Kavi considers himself to be a grateful member of the glowing and growing Hip Hop and music community in Vancouver, Canada, and across the world.

A dojo (道場) is traditionally a place of practice; the hall where you can train, repeat forms, fail, improve, and learn from each other. “The place of the Way.” A space dedicated to growth.

5.5 years since I last rapped, so I hopped on the mic twice in 4 days. This was from the @couchjamscollective open mic on June 26th. 🎥 by @adrilovesongs. I forgot how much I love this. All it took was a seizure to wake me from a deeeeeeep slumber 😴⏰ taken in Vancouver Black Library by @brsmshr
