Oklahoma - Recently with @theofficialsouse I produced a documentary style ride along DJ set for @open_designco to coincide with their Oklahoma Black Town Tour Project where we visited 3 of the 13 Historically Oklahoma All Black Towns, Tullahassee, Taft, and Rentiesville. Three towns, three DJ’s, three curated mixes. The creative, the planning, the research was truly edifying in what I enjoy about collaboration and storytelling. The project also gave me a chance to stretch my archival muscle and license photos and videos from the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the Oklahoma Historical Society. The archival footage used in the project was captured by Reverend S.S. Jones who documented Black communities in Oklahoma with his home movies in the 1920’s. Huge S/O to SOUSE and the talented @jordanamcnear for executing and enhancing the vision. taken in Rentiesville, Oklahoma by @brucel3roy

Leroy styled and captured my third outfit for my birthday shoot this year on his film camera. I think this is going to be my new favorite tradition 🖤📸

Dune 2 is the best movie I’ve seen so far this year. I just rewatched A Quiet Place 1 and 2 with my girlfriend and now saw the latest trailer for A Quiet Place 3. It might be the best movie franchise out right now. I’ve been doing karate and stretching more. Also Yussef Dayes “Black Classical Music” has been on repeat lately. by @brucel3roy
