Obiekt 02 18mm Walnut timber veneer pressed on Premium Birch Plywood, Stainless Steel Grade 304 Nº4, 2.0mm h 750mm × d 400mm × w 450mm OBIEKT will be included as part of our dear neighbours and friends @thisisnofantasy presentation at @sydneycontemporary 3-6th September 2026. by @brud.studia
We are excited to introduce OBIEKT. A table and chair concept built around familiar forms, simple proportions and direct construction. Walnut veneer on birch plywood is paired with folded stainless steel, shifting between the warmth and weight of timber and the harder, reflective surface of metal. Folded steel wraps the front legs and seats of the chairs and continues across the surface of the table. Designed as a family, the three pieces share the same materials, proportions and approach to construction. OBIEKT will be included as part of our dear neighbours and friends @thisisnofantasy presentation at Sydney Contemporary 3-6th September 2026. A big thank you to Diane and Nicola for including us in the booth. Contact us for specifications and lead times. We look forward to sitting with you. Iris Apfel is an unlikely starting point for an optometrist, yet she became the inspiration behind Wink (@winkoptom) in Melbourne, designed by Mitchell Zurek and Andy Kelly of Brud Studia (@brud.studia). The duo imagined a fictional collector whose world is filled with treasured objects, layered interiors and stories waiting to be uncovered, replacing the conventions of a retail space with something that feels unmistakably lived in. A kitchen sits where a counter might normally be, encouraging conversation rather than transaction. Stainless steel, timber joinery and collectable design pieces are woven throughout, while mirrors and an industrial mesh ceiling ensure every reflection offers a different perspective. Our latest interior for @winkoptom is now live with @vogueliving We wanted to create a place that feels welcoming, familiar and lived in, where a visit to the optometrist feels a little less clinical and a little more like walking into someone’s home. A huge thank you to the incredible team at Wink for trusting us with the project, and to @saskiatillerscoles @beccaratti and everyone at Vogue Living for the beautiful feature. Są ciężkie, może nawet toporne, uderzają mocno. Obiekty Brud Studia (@brud.studia)wpisują się w aktualne trendy, a jednocześnie z nich drwią. W erze nadkonsumpcji ich twórcy mieszają surowość z absurdem. Uczą trudnej sztuki odpuszczania. Więcej o projektach Brud Studia przeczytacie w zakładce Vogue Polska Living na Vogue.pl. We’re incredibly honoured to be featured in the latest issue of @vogue.polska.living Earlier this year during Salone del Mobile in Milan, we had the pleasure of meeting @basia_czyzewska and the Vogue Living Polaka team. What began as a lovely conversation has now found its way onto these pages, which feels incredibly special. A huge thank you to Basia and the entire team for their generosity, support and thoughtful feature. We’re so grateful to be included. by @brud.studia
