First 3 days of my cross country road trip were spent as follows:

day 1: made my way out of NYC, spent majority of this drive in silence (radio doesn’t work), and ended up parking at a Walmart for the night. I spent some time buying new sheets, pillows, and blankets, and a portable speaker.

day 2: i spent majority of the day driving, and ended up in a small township in PA where I grabbed a few more needed items (heated blanket, candle, pots and pans, and groceries, propane & water for the tank). I stayed the night at an RV park. I cooked for the first time in the camper. I think I stayed in the Appalachian mountains because I ended up hearing some blood curdling screams at 3am. Needless to say, I packed up camp a few hours later after not being able to sleep and hit the road. After some research, everyone says those screams are from a Windigo? I don’t know, but glad to say the journey is still onward and we’re safe.

Day 3: Spent this day driving through some bad rain storms, and made my way through some small township where i picked up some homemade fudge & pretzels. After seeing these towns, I made my way into Columbus.

Drove home to Salt Lake Valley, which meant I left well before sunrise to beat the heat. Got some photos as I drove. Very excited for the build to come on this thing.

162k miles, 30 years of recorded maintenance, burgundy interior.
