CULTURAL DIPLOMACY -

It has been an honor to collaborate with the Italian Embassy in KSA and BLACK Engineering on “Echoes of Movement. Dialogues between Italy and Saudi Arabia” presented during the Diriyah Biennale.

Particle developed the exhibition’s digital layer, offering storytelling, in-depth insights, and curated curiosities to enrich the visitor experience and explore the cultural dialogue between Italy and Saudi Arabia.

“AT THE HEDGE” CAN HAPPEN WONDERFULLY THINGS -

The first Art Week Riyadh.

“Our goal is not only to share experiences, but also to raise essential questions about the types of value that art creates in the contemporary world—whether economic, symbolic, or social—and how art can serve as a tool to understand cultural transformations, rather than merely reflect them.” Shumon
Basar, Curator of the Public Cultural Program

“We chose the title At the Edge because it reflects the nature of the phase Riyadh is undergoing. It is a city positioned between the desert and urbanization, between heritage and renewal. This balance is evident in the diversity of participation and the dialogues presented by the exhibition.” Vittoria Matarrese, Director and Art Curator

NOOR [LIGHT] -

When I was in Riyadh for the Noor opening, somebody welcomed me and my wife saying: “Guests represent Noor, because you bring light”
This shows the politeness and respect of local people.

“Noor” is not just an art festival, it encapsulates everything: art, people, culture, politeness, respect and vision towards the future.

DAF -

“A space for diverse perspectives and creative expressions to meet, converse and flourish - breaking down barriers and demonstrating the power of art to connect humanity” Mona Khazindar, Arab News

This sentence tells everything on the power of art and the objective of Diriyah Art Futures.

ONE NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM -

One of my dream was spending time alone at the museum, moving around, staying as long as I wish in front of an artwork, enjoying a place full of art and emotions…and it was an even bigger dream to do it with somebody I love, like my little one. Dreams come true!

Unfortunately, the museum was regularly opened and it was Saturday at 12pm.
The staff told me that usually there are few visitors during rainy weekends…

Museums are places full of beauty, emotions, wonderful artefacts…they are the place where to get inspirations, think and see things from different perspectives.

Nowadays we are used to be engaged on everything we do. Going to museums can be much more engaging that what we think and the experience can be memorable. Museums just need to innovate their approach, and it is easier than what they think.
