Located along the South Coast, this 60-meter cascade drops from ancient sea cliffs and offers a rare chance to walk a full 360° around it (yes, prepare to get misted 💦).

TBT to the stunning Maple Pass Loop Trail in North Cascades National Park 🌲

If you’re looking for a hike that combines breathtaking views with a good challenge, Maple Pass Loop is a must.

This roughly 9-mile round trip trail includes a detour to the serene Lake Ann. With an elevation gain of approximately 2,165 feet (660 meters), it’s considered a moderate to hard hike, but the views make every step worth it.

Pro tip: hike the trail counter-clockwise for the best experience!

North Cascades National Park is, in my opinion, the most underrated national park in the contiguous United States. Despite its incredible beauty, it only saw 40,351 annual visitors in 2023. If you’re seeking an adventure away from the crowds, this is the place to be.
