So I painted another edge 🙈 and this time it’s Metal Slinger by @rachelschneiderauthor ✨

This was one of my favourite reads last year after my friend recommended it. I love a book with twists and turns and this one definitely delivered 😭 If you know, you know. I am DESPERATE for answers.

I own three copies of this book, the Fairyloot edition, the Waterstones edition, and because that clearly wasn’t enough… a hand-painted version by me 🥰

I can’t quite believe Light Weilder is so close 🥹 I am looking forward to diving back into this world, seeing these characters again, and finally getting some answers after THAT ending 😭 Although I fear I may end up with even more questions than answers after reading it 😂

Thank you @gollancz for the opportunity to win one of the prettiest proofs ever! I would be so honoured to read this early 🤞

The best place to paint. In such a beautiful place doing what makes me happy 😊 Any guesses on what book I’m painting?

I painted another edge 🥹🦊

A few months ago, I was literally begging @electricmonkeybooks for an early copy of The Fox Hunt… and somehow I got lucky enough to receive a finished edition early. Safe to say I absolutely DEMOLISHED it. 🦊✨

When I saw @caitlinbreezewrites was going to be at @londongirlsbookclub_ , I had to go, and she was honestly so lovely 🥰

I loved everything this book stands for. Female empowerment, dark academia, a powerful story, and… foxes?! Of course I had to paint the edges of my copy, and I’m so proud of how it turned out 🥹🎨

Have you read The Fox Hunt yet? If not, WHAT ARE YOU DOING! go, go, go!

Velaris-inspired piece ✨

This painting was inspired by Verlaris, the City of Starlight. and everything I imagined while reading ACOTAR. The glow, the magic, the quiet kind of beauty that feels like home 🌙

ACOTAR honestly got me back into reading, and creating something inspired by that world feels so special 🤍

Handpainted When the Moon Hatched 🌙

This edge has to be my favourite I have painted yet 😍 I read this book a few years ago and knew I had to paint it. It had such an immersive world building how could I not?!

I have since added a bit more to the dragon and will be sharing pictures soon! I had such fun painting the trees and the castle on this one. I love doing all the details with the tiniest of brushes 🖌️

What book would you like to see next?

✨ Quicksilver 🌌🏔️

Something a little different from me today… I’ve started painting again, and I wanted to share the first piece I’ve finished in a long time, inspired by Quicksilver by @calliehartauthor.

I’m usually more of a pencil artist, so this definitely pushed me outside my comfort zone, but I loved creating the northern lights and of course painting little Onyx. Foxes are my favourite animal, so including one was a must for me. ☺️

I’ve actually completed a few more pieces since this one that I’m really excited to share with you all soon 🤍
