Our hearts are broken saying goodbye to our boy, Brutus Patutus. 🐾

Brutus actually brought our family together. When his dad needed a dog sitter 9 years ago, I offered to watch him… and that simple moment somehow led to us getting married. So in a very real way, Brutus started our whole love story.

For nine wonderful years he lived life to the fullest and eventually earned his Dogtorate in Good Boy Studies. 🎓 He was a full-time social media influencer, a professional treat enthusiast, and the king of the happiest little dances whenever toys or snacks appeared.

He loved every single one of his friends and family, never turned down a belly rub, and despite being 90 pounds, he firmly believed he was a lap dog.

He left peacefully and painlessly surrounded by his immediate family🕊️

Brutus filled our home with laughter, loyalty, and so much love. We were so lucky to be his humans.

Run free, sweet boy. We’ll miss your happy dances forever. 🤍🐾 by @brutusthabully
