Amazing dinner last night celebrating Ashley’s birthday at @the_restorative ! What a gem of a restaurant! We’ve been meaning to eat here for quite some time and it did not disappoint. We’ve had an incredible meal starting with their signature naan bread with a flight of dips - caramelized onion, escargot and chicken liver parfait - all were fantastic! We split some starters - Scallop crudo was phenomenal, cavatappi with nduja bolognese was rich and bold, kholrabi salad was refreshing and bright. For entrees, we had the braised short rib with mushroom conserva and celery root puree and the cod with pumpkin puree and brown butter; both were complex dishes with lovely components. We capped dinner with their chocolate dessert and their deconstructed key lime pie. What an outstanding meal! We can’t wait to go back and see what else they’re cooking up as the menu rotates weekly. Bravo to the team at The Restorative. Thank you for an unforgettable meal! Happy Birthday Ashley!!! taken in The Restorative by @bruwu

Here’s a couple of my coach jumps from yesterday and my check dive which were the last requirements for my A license! My 5th jump of the day was a practice solo which got me to my 25 jump and sealed the deal on being a licensed skydiver!! Thanks to the amazing staff at @skydivecity for being the best mentors!

Officially a licensed skydiver!!

Spent the day at @skydivecity in ZHills today and completed my last 5 jumps today! I started on the first load of the day with my Cat G1, then G2, H1, Check Dive and finished on the last load of the day with a practice solo to get my 25th jump completed. I can’t thank the amazing team at Skydive City enough for all of the support, instruction, coaching and support they’ve given me since I started the AFF program at the end of June. What a whirlwind it has been! I’m so happy to have earned my A License! It felt so good to get that stamp on my forehead today. Now the real journey begins! See you in the sky!! taken in Skydive City by @bruwu

Wow! What a treat to see @jason_mraz play an acoustic set in Ft Meyers tonight! I’ve been listening to his music for over 23 years and it just gets better and better. He has such an incredible voice and his singing sounds and look effortless. His guitar playing is dynamic and intricate. He’s got such control and is always so amazing to see. This was my 4th time seeing him live and the first time seeing him play by himself. An incredible showcase of his massive talent. I was able to get his set list from the stage! Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay to try to get a picture by his tour bus, or get my shirt from his UK tour in 2006 and signed. Next time!!! taken in Barbara B.
