Campus Nostalgia…🎓

Chasing that late-day light and timeless neo-soul energy. Mixed things up between the Sony A7V and the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P to capture this relaxed, vintage-inspired set.

Analog state of mind. 📻

Chasing 90s nostalgia and golden afternoon light. 📼 Captured this retro analog set on the Sony A7V—leaning on the 50mm f/1.2 GM for that buttery, cinematic subject separation, and the 20mm f/1.8 G to open up the wide environmental shots. @sonyalpha

(Slide one was actually shot on the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P) 🤯 @djiglobal

Court Vision: The Process vs The Product 🏀🎥

Behind every game-winning bucket and clean highlight is the work nobody sees—both on the court and behind the lens. Tracking the energy at @j.j.hoops with the 70–200mm locked in.

2001 Energy 📸🎬

Breaking down how we brought this vintage street concept to life. From low-angle framing under the bridge to dialing in the rich tones on the Sony A7V with the 50mm f1.2 GM and 20mm f1.8 G lenses, every detail was built around that classic retro energy.

Why the Sony A7V Just Blew Me Away!

I’m officially convinced—the Sony A7V is an absolute workhorse.

Took it out for a full retro-inspired shoot with @alexisemendez across two locations, switching between high-res photo sets and video for over 5 straight hours. Walked away with tons of sharp footage, crisp stills, and somehow still had 23% battery left on a single charge.

Whether you’re running full-day portrait sessions or capturing hybrid video content, this camera handles the workflow seamlessly.

Gear Used:

Sony A7V

Sony FE 50mm f/1.2 GM

Sony FE 20mm f/1.8 G

Vintage JVC Camcorder (prop)

What’s your current go-to body for hybrid photo/video work? Let me know in the comments below! 👇
