It is a deeply resonant honor to welcome @bryanaclover to facilitate The Healing Feast on 10/30 in Lansing. Bryana is a decolonial guide and healer devoted to reconnecting people with ancestral wisdom that lives in the body, long after it’s been forgotten by the mind. For our Day of the Dead celebration at The Fledge, she will lead an experience called The Grandmother in Your Blood, telling a story about the one maternal ancestor we all share and leading adults and children alike in a meditative drawing practice as she takes them on this storytelling journey.

Bryana’s work draws on ancient Egyptian archetypes, elemental wisdom, and over a decade of experience in racial justice and somatic healing. She leads pilgrimages to Egypt, facilitates ceremony, and guides others in reclaiming the parts of their lineage that colonization, patriarchy, and modern life have tried to sever. She is also an 8th-generation Reiki Sensei in the Usui lineage, the founder of Bryana Clover LLC and ALCHEMY Holistic Collective, a holistic healing studio, and co-steward of Clover Joy Sacred Provisions with her family.

Bry’s ancestral healing experience will be woven into a celebration for all ages with music, community drumming, movement, dialogue, and of course, delicious, nourishing food. Also featuring the magical community-weaving of @saribrownmusic and her band, @sundancelivingwaters , and Sari + Marcelo’s famous Mexican tamales in a variety of flavors, including vegan options. (everything is gluten free and friendly for many other common allergens).

Join us at @thefledge in Lansing on Friday, October 30th, 5:30-8:30 PM (doors at 5:00)! Save your spot in advance to make sure they don’t run out! Sliding scale and free tickets are available in advance, as well as opportunities for energy exchange as a volunteer.

20% of all proceeds will be given back to @thefledge , an radically inclusive maker and incubator space serving the community in the heart of Lansing.

The Healing Feast of Ancestral Wisdom for Future Generations will truly be a celebration for all ages and generations. Join us at The Fledge in Lansing on Friday, October 30th to feast on delicious homemade tamales, build an ofrenda altar together, listen to healing stories and songs, draw our visions of connection with past, present, and future, dance and drum with delight and tenderness.

We are preparing for a most transformative Healing Feast as we enter the threshold of the Day of the Dead. The veil is thin at this time of Día de los Muertos in México and Samhain in European earth-based spirituality. This is the time when we embrace death, composting, remembrance, nostalgia, and curling into the darkness of winter’s womb that will eventually birth us into a new year of growth life.

Yet for all these somber notes, it is a time of celebration, magic, playfulness, silliness, and joyful connection with both the living and the dead!

Join us on 10/30 in Lansing for a child- and family-friendly event that is designed to be a transformative, fulfilling experience for all ages. All are invited to bring your own memorabilia for our ofrenda altar as we celebrate Día de los Muertos. These objects can represent departed loved ones, ancestors, or even plant and animal allies and other parts of creation that you wish to remember and honor.

Our feast will feature these powerful guides and nourishing experiences:

🪬 @bryanaclover , a decolonial guide, healer, and pilgrimage weaver devoted to reconnecting people with ancestral wisdom that lives in the body
❤️‍🔥The @saribrownmusic Band, creating a landscape of sounds, words and symbols that open us to healing and deep connection with our inner truth
🪘@sundancelivingwaters , a community drum circle guide with a magical way of creating a space for all to play with sound and rhythm
🫔Menu: Homemade Mexican Tamales with vegan options and a traditional dessert of Dulce de Calabaza

20% of proceeds will go to @thefledge , our hospital venue

Sliding scale and free tickets available! Get yours in advance at the link in bio to make sure you save a spot!
