June 2026: One day they’ll come to get you and expose what’s in your heart. Some say that they’ll depict you as though you were a star.Having friends from out of state visit during what was probably the busiest time of the year was an experience. Also having to hold back spoilers for a friend during a broadway play was delightfully devilish seeing their reaction afterwards. Could do without the gunshots and the burning buses but when in New York I guess. Final fantasy concert was phenomenal and I’m glad I got to experience it with such amazing people. Botanical gardens were also a great way to end such a chaotic weekend. Also popped my stone pony cherry too (shocker with how many concerts I’ve been to that I have never been I know) but once again hot mulligan killed it. Crying to a song called “Monica Lewinskibidi” is about on brand for me at this point.Next month the Starbucks crusaders reunite. by @bryanbko

May 2026: Judge them for what they wished to be not what the world made of them Very slow month and thankful for that. Needed some time to get a breather after last month was filled to the brim with things to do. Took some time to myself relaxed got to see family visiting from Peru and just vibe. The disgusting heat is coming soon so I’m bracing for the summer “fun” that awaits. by @bryanbko

April 2025: “So which are you, the man or the monster? The man…There’s already too many monsters in this world.”Aprils have never been a very positive mental month for me in the past couple of years, lots of dealing with loss grief and all of the dread that entails. This year was a twist as it was one of the busiest months of the year. Helped keep my mind from wandering so that was a big plus. Grandpas 98th birthday, 5 concerts half of which I was tearing up for (ironically enough one was about grief so good timing) and a convention with some awesome people. Definitely need a break and a month of relaxing to recover. by @bryanbko

Somehow was memed a lot more than usual this month too. Weather not being able to make up its mind has been troubling since I just want the cold to be back already. January 2026: Look at what you’ve done do you see how far you’ve come? Romanticize the past for fucking nice know your younger self would be so proud.Another year older. Didn’t think I’d make it this far honestly 😅. Main goal of last year was to try and be more outgoing and while I was successful in that regard I also learned that people can be petty so I think I’ll stick to being a hermit for the next couple years if that’s ok with everyone. No real resolutions this year just making sure everyone around me is doing well is all I can really ask for.Birthday snowstorms, mandatory crowd surfing, another night at the opera, and a whole lot of cold. December 2025: “What if me trying to hold the world together is what keeps me from falling apart?”A much needed return to normalcy after a year filled with side quests. Fulfilling my role as resident cryptid by showing up in all these random spots, St. Louis being the latest case. A farewell show to one of my favorites in their hometown. Overall fantastic year but a more in depth review will be saved once my lap around the sun comes up next month. Onward to 2026. by @bryanbko

Nov 2025: Mellon Collie and the American MidwestReconnecting with old friends, traveling and sightseeing around the Midwest and topped off with seeing a rendition of my favorite album ever in a brand new orchestral arrangement. The first piece of art to not only resonate with me about the mundane and malaise of the world, but also one of the most important parts of life.Hope. A light at the end of the dark tunnel. A reminder that with all the misery going on that faint reminder that things will work out in the end. Seeing all that played out in front of me is a memory I will treasure forever. Helps that Chicago and Detroit are just amazing backdrops to be in as well. One more month to round out the year. by @bryanbko
