That warps it up. This year didn’t exactly go as I intended with some injuries faced throughout, but I will forever be grateful for the experiences and the memories I gained. Although I leave falling just short, I am blessed to know of the potential I can achieve. I will truly miss this team and the laughters we shared throughout the years. Love you guys and thank you for everything. (Stay tuned for big new 🔜) by @bryancc108

That’s a wrap on my high school XC career.
It still feels unreal. Five years ago, I began a journey I never could’ve imagined would become one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.
Over the years, I’ve created countless memories and have been blessed with friendships that will last a lifetime. Saying goodbye to this team is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do — but I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful ending.
Coming into this year, I had big plans. When a stress fracture cut my season short, I thought it was over — but God had something greater in store. Through every setback and every individual battle, we rose together as one. We earned 5 All-State runners, set the fastest overall placement and time in school history, and brought home the 5A boys’ runner-up trophy. I couldn’t be more proud of every single guy and the relentless effort they put in every single day.
Without my teammates pushing me, supporting me, and believing in me, I wouldn’t have been able to play a part in something this special. I owe so much to you all and I thank you all for allowing me to be your captain for these years.
I am also thankful for my all the coaches who countlessly poured into me but most importantly my parents who continuously push me to my goal and my dreams to be a runner and I wouldn’t be here without them. When I first joined XC, I’ll be honest — no one, not even me, thought I’d come back after that first year. No one expected much, but God had a plan. Only He knew that one day I’d become something greater through His glory.
I’m forever grateful for the chance to run, to grow, and to be shaped by this journey. I don’t know what the Lord has planned next, but I trust wherever He leads me. Next up: Running lane! by @bryancc108
