POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Beneath the glitter, there is a story we don’t always see.

For the 2026 @projecthealthyminds Gala, Rafanelli Events had the honor of producing Beneath the Glitter, an immersive experience inspired by Studio 54 that explored the contrast between outward glamour and the struggles we carry beneath the surface.

In collaboration with Naeem Khan, this year’s Artistic Curator, we brought this powerful message to life through design.

In an industry dedicated to creating moments of celebration, we recognize how important it is to make space for the conversations that often go unseen.

Mental health touches every industry, every community, and every one of us.

We are proud to stand alongside Project Healthy Minds in turning awareness into action. Putting our creativity and expertise behind a cause we believe in is more than work. It is a privilege, a joy, and a responsibility we hold close.

The art of October entertaining is in the details guests experience.

Draw inspiration from the changing foliage, let seasonal ingredients guide the menu, and bring the evening to life with interactive culinary experiences and live music.

From color and texture to flavor and atmosphere, every element should feel intentional, creating a gathering that captures the spirit of the season.

Some tents take days to build. This one took weeks.

Load-in began June 22. The wedding was July 18. Our team remained on-site through August 1.

But the scale of this production tells only part of the story. Behind every structure, installation, and design decision was a clear intention: to create something extraordinary, deeply personal, and worthy of the celebration taking place within it.

And when the mother of the bride stepped inside for the first time, her reaction said it all: “How lucky are we?”

From the magnitude of the build to the smallest design details, our Founder & Chief Creative Officer, Bryan Rafanelli, takes us behind the scenes of what it took to bring this vision to life…and the moment that made it all worthwhile.

The best service is often the part you never notice.

What guests experienced as an effortlessly beautiful setting was the result of weeks of construction, months to years of meticulous planning, and countless decisions made long before the celebration began.

From the architecture of the tent to the placement of every table, floral installation, and lighting detail, each element was considered not only for how it looked, but for how the experience would unfold.

Because exceptional event production isn’t simply about bringing a vision to life. It’s about anticipating every need, orchestrating every transition, and creating an environment where our clients can be entirely present.

The complexity is ours to manage. The celebration is theirs to enjoy.

St. Michaels called for bikes first, boats later. We happily obliged.

The best way to step into Q4? Around a table with the people shaping what comes next.

Our thought leader dinners bring together some of the brightest minds in our industry for something we don’t get enough of: time to exchange ideas, share experiences, challenge perspectives, and learn from one another.

We’re proud to create these spaces alongside @Forma_mgmt and @innatperrycabin, bringing our peers together not simply to connect, but to contribute to the continued growth of our industry.

The conversation around the table is only the beginning. The ideas, connections, and perspectives carry forward long after dinner ends.

The day unfolded at a different pace.

A bike ride through St. Michaels gave way to an afternoon on the water, with time between each stop to explore, reconnect, and let conversation take its own course.

For an industry that spends so much time moving from one thing to the next, there was something valuable about simply having nowhere else to be.

A change of scenery. A little more room to breathe. Time well spent with the people who understand the work.

We just left the @innatperrycabin where Rafanelli Events gathered a small group of industry peers for an evening built around one idea: the people who spend their careers creating moments for others deserve to be given one themselves.

Away from client work and production schedules, the conversation turned inward. Guests reconnected with each other, and took stock of what the season had taught them.

A reset is not separate from the work. It is what makes the work possible. Fresh perspective, renewed energy, and intention all start somewhere quiet.

Because some of the best work starts with simply stopping.

Some of the best ideas begin with simply making space for people to gather.

At The Inn at Perry Cabin, we welcomed our industry community for a few days dedicated to partnership, perspective, and connection. The first evening set the tone with cocktails, a tour of the property, and dinner around the table.

A chance to step away from the everyday, reconnect with familiar faces, and make room for what comes next.

OK, cringe time, especially with this photo. But 25 years ago today, on September 9, 2001, I ended up on the cover of The Boston Globe Magazine.

It’s a cliché to say I don’t know where the years went, but I truly don’t! WTF!

I knew exactly one person when I moved to Boston. I never worked at one of the PR firms around town, yet I built CBH Communications from the ground up.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to sign the backs of checks from local, national and international clients. Even more meaningful has been signing the fronts of checks and hiring some extraordinarily talented people over the years. They know who they are, and seeing where some of them are today, and playing a tiny part of their success, is beyond anything I could have imagined. Especially various interns over the years -- they definitely teach me as much as I teach them.

The photo: That weekend, and New York City, where I was at a Michael Jackson concert would take on a meaning none of us could have foreseen just two days later. It makes looking back today especially poignant.

Twenty-five years. A lot of hard work, a little luck and so many people who believed in me along the way -- and today.

Feeling very humbled and very grateful. OK, I'll shut it.

Thank you @tinacassidy1 & @brendanw1g & @joekeller by @bryanrafanelli
