POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The past four years at @birdcageradio shaped me as a DJ, as a selector and as a music lover. Now it’s time for the next chapter at Birdcage!

Starting tonight, I’m launching a new show: Melophoria. Every two months, I’ll take you on a journey through the sound I love most – melodic techno built on deep, revolving basslines, breakdowns that hit you right in the chest, and melodies so euphoric they make the whole room feel like one. This is the music that moves me, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Tune in tonight at 20:00 to hear the sound of Melophoria: 🔗 birdcageradio.com

Psyched to be back at ADE this year 🙌 I'm part of the insane 100-hour marathon @amw.fm with a morning set, where I'll be dropping some deep and elevating progressive tunes - perfect to ease into the day with good spirits.

Entrance is free, so whether you're still awake, can sneak out of office for an hour or have nothing else to do, come dance with me!

That pure and wholesome feeling of playing vinyl, it’s hard to beat! I had so much fun playing a vinyl set at Haarlem Vinyl Festival last weekend. With the label crew of Birdcage Radio, we had a showcase at the awesome record shop @soundshaarlem, thanks for having us 🙌

Also, shout out to the rest of the artists for playing great tunes: @soundsurreal @djbalu92 @blackwidowtheband @danielkorsmusic 🔥 taken in Sounds Haarlem by @brycebenda_

Even though I'm not a wedding DJ (apparently people don't want to listen to techno at weddings 💀), I made an exception for the marriage of my high school buddy Bram and @huismanne!

Turns out that people do like some classic house hits at wedding parties, like Robin S' Show Me Love, Gala's Freed From Desire and Paul Johnson's Get Get Down. Visit the Wedding House playlist I curated on Spotify to find out all my secret weapons!

Welcome to Melophoria! Recently, I started a new show @birdcageradio, filled with melodic and euphoric techno, the music I keep coming back to ❤️

The idea is simple: let the melody pull you in, let the groove keep you there. Uplifting, bombastic, melancholic — sometimes all three in a single track (those are my favourite tracks😎). Anyway, here are some snippets from the first episode of Melophoria. Which slide you like most?

ADE debut: unlocked 🔓🔥
Throwback to couple of weeks ago, when I had the pleasure of playing as @nimby___dj with my buddy Matthijs at @wax_radio. Wow… that’s was so much fun!

Big thanks to @timedelbroek and crew for having us. We loved playing our signature blend of melodic, raw, and analog-driven sounds 🙌
