1 year ago today I walked out of a room I never thought I’d be in for the very last time. A room that I shook going into. A room where I cried so hard I couldn’t get words out. A room where I expressed feelings I never thought I could. A room where healing began.

I don’t post this for me, I post this because I know someone needs it. I know someone is looking for a sign. I know someone needs help. I know someone has had those bad thoughts. And if I can get to just 1 persons heart and mind, I’m more than happy.

You are not alone. You are not a burden. You are not weak. You are not too much. You are seen. You are loved. You are wanted. You have a purpose here. The darkness can only stay for so long. There’s light at the end of the tunnel and better days are ahead.

720,000 people a year. 60,000 people a month. Nearly 2,000 people a day. Everytime I hear these numbers my heart breaks more and more. I promise suicide isn’t the answer. It never has been and it never will be. There’s so much life to live, things to experience, people to meet, places to see, and joy to have. I promise.

And you’re probably reading this and saying yeah well where do I start? Well first, talk to people. Speak your mind. Get it off your chest. Find a therapy or someone you can deeply trust. Let it all out. I mean all of it. And secondly, I know someone that died for you and I. Someone that has his arms open wide and wants everything laid down at his feet. Someone that can heal, restore and do miracles. I’ve seen him do it before and I know he will do it again. I’ve seen him do it my life and I know he can do it in yours. Come to Jesus and let him take over. No matter how hard we try, this type of stuff can’t be handled on our own strength.

God isn’t done with you yet. Your story is far from finished. He has a plan and you’re in the palm for his hands. Trust him. Talk to people. Seek help. Live with hope.

2 years ago today my life changed forever. After being lost, I got on my knees and surrendered. Thank you Lord for saving my life. Thank you Lord for changing my life. Thank you Lord for bettering my life. I give it all to you forever and always. Jesus, you are my everything❤️

Buying my first car in all cash is a dream come true. 3 years ago my life hit a complete 360 and I never looked back. I first give all the glory and praise to the man above because without him none of this would be possible. I then thank my family for not only believing in me but for also pushing me to be the best version of myself.

I am so grateful for the position I am in and I promise I’ll never take it for granted. This NFL season was so special in many different ways and to be rewarded like this at the end makes it even better. God is so good, I promise this is just the beginning📈❤️ by @brycedegroat2

Beyond proud of my brother & best friend for this amazing accomplishment. Just 2 years ago we talked about how this can come to fruition and here we are. As someone who once had this dream, I now get to live it through my brother. I’ll never forget the conversation we had after Day 2 when his name still wasn’t called. Sitting on the couch in tears but that was just a glimpse of what his career has been like so far. He never saw a handout, it was a lot of bumpy roads that was just backed by belief in himself and constant hard work. As I always say to him…. Never forget the doubters, the events you weren’t invited to and everyone that overlooked you. But most importantly never forget who helped you get here and where you came from. They never said it would be easy to make it out of a small town in NY called Wallkill. You’re living proof it’s possible and that’s something that will never go away. To say I’m excited to watch your career play out is an understatement. The sky is the limit and we all know this is just the beginning. As always, I’ll be with you every step of the way. Rest In Peace to the Greatest Grandfather I could ever ask for. I can’t even put into words how much I’ll miss you. All I can ask for, is to forever look over me and view my accomplishments. Root for me along the way and stay by side through this journey. COVID-19 impacted my life greatly and it hurts to know you were taken in such a mean way. I love and will miss you so much Poppa D.
